Dib Dab Thistle. . . . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope you are well.

Also hope you managed to catch John's shows yesterday. I think he will be trying to get that ink off his hands for weeks lol!!!

Now this card was at the back so I thought I would show it today as it was one of my favourite makes.

Ingredients
Cream, lilac and green card
Embossilicious Falling Leaves embossing folder
Presscut Oval die
John Next Door Butterfly Frames stamps
John Next Door Butterfly Corners stamps (sentiment)
Memento Dew drop inks

Now in the title, I mentioned "Dib dab". This is a technique I use to colour stamps by basically, "dibbing" and "dabbing" the pointed end of Memento Dew Drop ink pads to colour different areas of a stamp all in one go. This is just using a stamping block not a stamping press. Its easier on stamps with bigger images and you do need a steady hand (so lay off the milky coffee Maureen).

I shall be back again tomorrow (Cara, get ready with that shovel again, lol!!!) so be good.

PS........picking up new laptop today. Wish me luck with Windows 10 or I shall have a very expensive frisbee lol!!!

  1. Morning Ang, love this card, the stamped image is so subtle and arty, must try that with my ink pads and stamps. You will be fine with the laptop. I was sceptical about Windows 10, and it took a bit of getting used to, but does seem quite a bit better. Have a great day. Bx

  11. A beautiful card Ang, shame it didn't get its five seconds in the limelight, I didn't see the red lamp either though I was trying to scan the back shelves. I did see your lovely clock though. Fingers crossed you succeed with your new laptop! Love from Jackie xx

  15. Hello Ang,
Love this card. It reminds me of me. Quiet, refined, delicate!! ha ha
John did rather end up quite spectacularly messy. I often end up like that as well, but I don't mind I just lather on the liquid soap and sugar and remove the top layer of skin!!!
Good luck with Windows 10, I think mine is now Windows 10.1 or something as it keeps updating. Don't ask me - I muddle through but I think I should do something called back up. I'll ask one of the gang when I meet them soon.
    Hope you are keeping well.

  16. Love the card today Ang and was good you had a mention yesterday. You certainly deserved it with all your lovely cards. I don't blame you not going out at that time of the morning. Brilliant shows yesterday. Good luck with Windows 10. Have an iPad so don't have Windows.

Beautiful stamping with those super stamps of John's.
If you get any probs with your printer with windows 10 you may need to download the drivers for it.
Good luck with your change over, and if you get any probs I will ask Techno hubby for you.
    Just email me.
