Oldie Friday. . . . . . . .No it's not a photo of me!!!

Good morning folks. Hope you're all well.
A huge Pond welcome to Laurigami who has made the brave choice to follow. Thanks for coming for a paddle and hope you'll stop by again soon.
Just a quickie as I wasn't intending to post, then remembered the Oldie Friday thingy that some of you ladies have been doing. All your stuff has been fabulous so I thought I would give you a chuckle with one of my first cards.
Also, thank you for your kind words. Unfortunately, it was a bit more than someone being horrid but these few days off have been a real tonic (no crafting pun intended).

Anyhoo, don't worry about commenting on this, just sit back and thank your lucky stars that I have improved. . . . . . . .even if only marginally hahaha!!!

Have a great Friday.

Ps. . . . . .Jackie, oh if only I were going to Silverstone this weekend. I have asked Mr D for a ticket for my 50th so at least he has a few years to save the extortionate ticket price but whether he will remember by then, goodness knows lol!!!

  2. Good morning Ang. You are worried about your oldie? You have nothing to worry about. Wait till you see mine I couldn't even get it to photograph any better than I did 5 years ago. No your card is lovely - oh yes you have come on since then, but is that not what this is all about. How we have improved since then in what ever craft we did??? Elaine is so right you have long enough time to get Mr D round to buying you that ticket, yes lots of hints needed. Hazel xx

  4. Good morning Ang. What are you worried about?? I would call this a classic card and still fresh and suitable for everyone. Styles come and go and sometimes a straightforward card is all that is needed to convey the sentiment. have to go out this morning so will catch up on practice later. With rain threatened tomorrow qualifying could be interesting!! at least we won't be getting stuck in a muddy carpark - remember a couple of years ago? If necessary I'm sure you can persuade Mr Duck to start a savings account for your ticket can't you! have a good weekend, best wishes Jackie

  5. I love looking back at old cards to see how fashions have changed and peoples styles etc. I still think this looks good anyway. I may have to go and raid my old photo file and look for one.
Have a good weekend, I,m just off to 'fat club'. xxxxx

  7. Lovely card Mrs, Duck, and glad you are getting over your experience. I do hope you have or will report it at work. Hope you get your wish for your 50th, you will just have to keep dropping big hints, until the event.

  9. A lovely card even if it's a old one. I looked back at some of my old cards recently and thought "did I think that was good ????" LOL. Have a good 50th - I had mine last year and managed to be spoilt for the whole year (off and on). Down to earth with a bang now i'm 51 no more treats. Janice x

  17. Very cute card with nothing wrong with it! Favourite colour too!
Ang we have been to Silverstone to watch the F1 GP and it was a great weekend and we're both glad we made the effort and have the memory. However we saw so little of the race and because of that we now watch it at home. We're not far from Silverstone but the traffic going there and the expense was horrendous. I think the only way we would go again would be if we won the Lotto big time and would, hopefully, be able to buy or get a VIP ticket where you can see more lol! While I remember thank you for the lovely comments you have left on my blog - it's very kind of you! Oft to check out the card above and got to go to bed soon! Karen x
