Good morning guys and gals. Hope you have had some of the glorious sunshine that we have had during the past couple of days.
I know that I've said it before but its very satisfying seeing a line full of washing drying in the Sun. . . . . . .What an interesting life I lead eh lol?
Now, I thought I'd give you a rest from John's samples today. This is a card that I made last year for a dear blog chum's son who was/is going through some serious health issues and just wanted to pass on my best wishes and positive vibes to him. I hope that she won't mind my showing it as its about 12 months ago I sent it.
Ingredients
White and blue card
Home made Bokeh mask (circles cut out of acetate)
Lindsay Mason Personal Impressions sentiment stamp
Distress inks for the Bokeh background
Memento Dewdrop Teal Zeal ink for the sentiment.
Teeny blue bling
Very CAS but there are some occasions that you don't need the whistles and bells.
Getting used to the new lappy now. Thankfully, it made friends with the printer without any downloading of anything so the expense and trauma Suzzie had, was averted.
Looks like I'm going to have to fend off a pincer movement by the Terrible Trio who are now on Tart Watch as well as Wisty Watch!!!
Anyhoo, time to have a schnack (I'm scheduling so not nibbling at 6am lol!!!)
See you all soon.

What a lovely card Ang, as you say sometimes the simplest of designs are best. Back from Mums for a rest for a couple of days. Too much good weather and all the curtains and nets were down washed ironed and back up again, the garden has been pruned to within an inch of its life as not having really done anything last year everything was so overgrown. Come November 5th I think the bonfire in Kent will be visible across the whole country!! This plus the usual housework and shopping plus a new microwave as somehow she has blown up the existing one!! Then yesterday I joined a 7 mile queue to get through the Dartford Crossing and the temperature at 29 degrees was stifling. never taken me so long to get back as it did yesterday. So today I do nothing even though my media plates have arrived. They can wait until I have the energy otherwise I will only be disappointed. Anyway its raining here today so at least I don't have to go out and cut the lawn!! love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteGood morning Ang,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card with a really beautiful sentiment, I really like it.
I am sorry I have not been commenting as often as I should have, no excuse except life in general getting in the way.
Met up with Hazel the other day, she asked if I had read your exciting news. I took a deep breath ... I had read a previous post, the word pregnant was mentioned!!
NO!!! OK!! right, on to what you are up to. I think that's fantastic news and I wish you all the very best. It will be a lot of work which I know you are not afraid of. Good luck, will keep popping in to find out how it is all going.
Have a great day
