Good morning everyone. Hope all of your ticketys are boo.
Welcome to Sam who has pressed the "follow" button and hopefully not by accident lol!!!
Have been busy making samples and making room for next weeks delivery of John's latest goodies for the website. I will be sending a newsletter to those of you who have kindly subscribed to the website as I have some other new bits and bobs.
Thank you for your kind words about my friend's Dad. Sadly, its not something that is going to get better.
Now, today's card is another sample I made for Daisy's Hochanda shows last Wednesday. Like a donkey, I forgot to label them for Jo as I forgot other folk had done samples too so they were quite prominently on display but I wasn't mentioned in dispatches lol!!!
Ingredients
White and pink card
Daisy's Spring Flowers Stamp set
Daisy's Fancy Florals Mask set
Memento Dew Drop inks
As most of you know, I like to use masks for embossing rather than stencilling and that's what I did here. I then used a cotton bud to apply ink to the embossed rose.
Hope you managed to see the shows as they do some lovely MDF too.
Well, its all been quiet on the Flash front but this week, Mrs Flash decided to get in on the act again.
I was getting some bags out of the boot when she strolled across the road from a neighbours house, in a short dressing gown, with bare legs and slippers and without any chestical support. Now, I like to keep a reasonable size in that department as I find that it helps having gravity pull the wrinkles out of my face but it looked like she had a loose sack of spuds stashed.................actually, maybe she did lol!!!
I have left my front door in a dressing gown on occasion but only as far as the bin and under cover of darkness, even though its a very fetching red and white fluffy M & S one, but this time of year, I like to keep a Hobbit like coverage to keep the legs and feet warm.
They obviously share a love of exhibitionism. I have seen her in a similar outfit on the street before but you hope its a one off so that the image doesn't burn into the retinas lol!!!
That's me for now as have Diwali cards and a 70th birthday card I need to make for this coming week too. That'll be about 25 cards made in a week and a half. I know Wendy (Spanish Crafter) makes that many in a day but its a lot for me lol!!!
US GP this weekend so a couple of late-ish nights ahead. It would be such a shame if Hamilton had a mechanical problem...............shi shi shi (done in a Muttley stylie).
Have a great weekend and hope Brian doesn't get you..........that's the storm not a mad neighbour lol!!!

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteSuch a delicate, lovely thing - the card, not you - and certainly not Mrs Flash according to your description ha ha.
I can read the sincerity in your Hamilton remark, I could spit sometimes when he moans, but I'm too much of a lady!!!!
Take care, look after yourself, and get your name on the back of the creations.

Oh, Ang, you paint such a vivid picture of your neighbours!
ReplyDeleteLovely card. Have been making a card today using bits from John's workshop.

Now that there dressing gown is going to be very fetching come December when you do your bin dash as you'd be quite in keeping doing it during daylight hours. Our mate is called Brian and as we pointed out (by email) it was just like him to b----r off to Spain out of harms way!
ReplyDeleteLove your card with the beautiful rose. Hugs Mrs A.
I do like the simplicity here, Ang. Looking forward to John's new goodies.

Good morning Ang fortunately Brian has kept away from here apart from the wind though I wish he'd continue as the sooner all the leaves from next doors tree fall the better and I can do one final raking! I see a lot of sights from my window but certainly can't compete with your view though perhaps that is a good thing. Just love the card you have done so elegant. Managed to stay awake to the end of qualifying but I fear bling boy might end his season this week. Anyway must do some C cards today the fayres are coming round too quickly now. Love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang,
ReplyDeleteLove your post always gives me a smile.

ReplyDeleteHi Ang,
ReplyDeletewhat a very beautiful card, and that embossed rose looks so beautiful, and of course it's my fave colour of pink.
Oh my word those two neighbours sound ideally matched.
I have met peeps in my local shops in their PJs, and can't understand anybody doing that or am I old fashioned, but I like to think I am fairly up to date with trends.LOL.
No way would you find me out in my night attire that's for sure.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
