Nordic Christmas. . . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope all is ok with you.

Been an up and down few days here but I just try and get on with things. Also, my friend's Dad has declined quite markedly so I'm trying to support her as best as I can. Poor thing is exhausted and not sleeping very well with the worry of it all.

Now, today's card is another from John's last shows featuring his latest stamp releases.
Its just John's kind of thing so he has already asked for this as his Christmas card for this year lol!!!

Ingredients
White and red card
John Next Door Festive Silhouette stamp set
John Next Door Christmas Scene stamp set
John Next Door Christmas Textures stamp set
Versamark
White detail embossing powder

It was a bit time consuming but made easier by using the Press To Impress. It really is a useful addition to my craft tools.

I hope the gals who joined John up at Swainby over the weekend had a great time and came away with new tips and techniques. I send best wishes to the ladies who couldn't make it as they were not too well.
We are in the process of sorting another workshop at Ansty for February so watch this space.

That's it for today folks as Mr D doesn't like me spending too long on the laptop when I'm not feeling great but Blogger doesn't like the tablet.
He's not thrilled that I was staying up until stupid o'clock last night to watch the Brazilian GP highlights.
When I started up my website, I registered for tax with HMRC so I was thinking of offering help to Lewis Hamilton on how to pay your taxes...........😉😉😉

Hope this week is kind to you all.

P.s...........all of the above stamp sets are available at www.theducksdoodahs.com.

  10. Hi Ang

Firstly, thank you so much for the lovely card, I was so touched and actually had 'happy tears', it's now taking pride of place in my 'happy room'. Totally gutted not being able to make John's workshop :(

I'm sorry to hear you've not been too good and also your friend's dad... take heed from Mr D!

Lovely card no wonder John's asked for this!

    Take care

  12. Hello Ang,
Fabulous Scandi card - you clever, patient thing!!
We had a great time yesterday at John's workshop, he's a star but I want to say that there is absolutely no truth in the rumour that Yorkshire Butterfly and myself are planning a night time ninja raid on the Wisty, so you can remove your security cameras ha ha.
Sorry to read that you are still a bit iffy and hope that things sort themselves out soon.
Take care, do as Mr D says, and I'd like a ride in your private jet when you get one!
    Maureen xx

  16. Hello Ang,
This is a really lovely card! It almost looks as it it has been printed - it’s so good! Lots of patience but well worth the effort! So pleased both John and you are going to get a surprise when you open the Christmas Cards! Lol!
Sorry to read about your friend. Please be careful and don’t overdo things!
    Love Myra xx

  17. This is fabulous Ang! I love the patterns on this, it so reminds me of a Christmas sweater I had when I was young. Funny how we go full circle. I loved those designs when I was a kid, then I hit a certain age and I wouldn't be caught dead in a Christmas sweater. Now I've searched every store and I'm so disappointed I can't find a sweater with reindeer and Santa on it! haha!!

Thanks for all your sweet comments on my blog, it was nice to see you 'out and about'. Hope your up days are outnumbering your down days! sending hugs :)
