Snowflake Border. . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope that you are all well.

Welcome to Jayne, who has kindly pressed "follow". Hope that knee is feeling less painful.

Sadly, my best chum's Dad has passed away. Its my dear friend Nesta, who I have mentioned in dispatches before, so its been a very sad time. I will try and keep up with blogging etc but if my shoulder is required, then I shall be elsewhere.

Now, today's card is again, one of John's samples from his last shows. I promise that I will have shown those samples before its time for the next ones for his next shows lol!!!

I did have a bit of a stamp fest again but hope it doesn't look too OTT on a 6x6 card.

Ingredients
White and navy card
John Next Door Snowflake Circle embossing folder
John Next Door Christmas Scene stamp set
John Next Door Build a Wreath stamp set (sentiment)
Marianne Creatables LR10125 snowflake die (aperture)
Memento Dewdrop Bahama Blue, Danube Blue and Teal Zeal
Teeny blue bling
Pearlage

The stamp sets are still available on my website and also the Festive Silhouettes set, which I think has been in short supply elsewhere.

Another one for the Christmas card box.

Thank you for your help about the CPAP. I'm still psyching myself up for it but the air freshener lids down my vest is working to keep me off my back. I look a bit like Quasimodo (not facially Maureen before you say anything lol!!!) but better than Hannibal L.

Wendy, I have increased security patrols day and night on Wisty Watch. There are also life size photos of me wearing the CPAP mask strategically placed around the garden to frighten any potential intruders............you have been warned lol!!!

Well, that's me for now folks.

Hopefully see you soon.

TTFN
Ang x

  5. Good Morning,
Another lovely card, thanks Ang for your brilliant inspiration.
Thanks for the mention too. That was a nice surprise! I've had to accept the fact that my bad knee won't be fixed for a while, so I will be off work. To stop me getting down in the dumps I will have to do some crafting. That will be interesting when I'm on liquid morphine. Goodness knows what random designs I will come up with, lol!
I hope you are OK xxx

  10. Hi Ang, I'm so sorry to read your news on Nesta's dad so please send my condolences. That's the third one in the past week so hopefully no more for a while. Your card is so cheery it would brighten anyone's mantelpiece. Do take care of yourself out there, you wouldn't want to be mistaken for a terrorist now!! Love from Jackie xx

  11. This would become a part of my Christmas decorations, Ang! It's just gorgeous!! I'm sorry to hear about the CPAP and this new challenge you face. I have heard that they are crucial, however inelegant, especially when you have heart issues. Bless! Thank goodness we got two of the good guys as hubbards, eh? If they only knew when they were saying those vows ..., lol!

On a serious note, I'm very sorry to hear about Nesta's dad passing away. Sending hugs to her, too! Lots of love, Darnell

  13. Hello Ang,
Bright, festive card today. One to lift the spirits and make mine a double!! I know you don't have a face like Quasimodo, perish the thought, I'd have said more like Joseph Merrick!!!
Jayne, you'll probably come up with some super psychadelic cards while on the liquid morphine!!!
I am sorry to read about Nesta's father. Any time is a bad time, but these months near to Christmas always seem worse, and I speak from experience.
    love Maureen xx

  18. Hi Ang, lovely card. Love the colour combination. So sorry to hear of your friends sad loss, and I am sure you will be a great comfort to her.

With regard to the Wisty Mission, after picturing you in all your finery, I have decided that I cannot make a daylight or evening frontal attack so have now revised plans to include a tunnel
