Triple Purple. . . . . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope you are not buried under several inches of snow. Its been quite bad in the Midlands and I could have done with Sherpa Tensing's assistance to get to the bird table.

Have had a few internet issues too but before the snow so it may be time to dig out the spare router.

Now, here are the 3 cards that were in the purple and gold sample box on John's shows. The box will be on the next blog post.
All were made using the dies from all the die sets and the sentiments stamp set.

Ingredients
Purple and gold mirror card
John Next Door Sandwich Box dies
John Next Door Opera Box dies
John Next Door Mini Tags dies
John Next Door Star Flowers dies
John Next Door Sentiment stamps

I'm still trying to get all of my Christmas cards done. I don't think I have been quite this last minute before.
I have started volunteering again at the first charity shop I worked at. Just a couple of hours per week, nothing strenuous and nice to see my old chums again.
Mr D's birthday is this week too...........and still have to make his birthday card.
Then there is the Christmas food shop, presents, another hospital appointment and not enough days to do it all in.

The website has kept me busy too, thank you, though Kate, I think the nearest I will get to offshore banking is using a cash point on the Isle of Wight lol!!!

Hopefully, snow allowing, I should be seeing Nesta for lunch today. she is still up and down and missing her Dad.

That's all for today folks. Hope your festive plans are more organised than mine are.

  1. Morning Ang, love this set of cards, very regal colours. Hope your roads are better than ours, it seems our council did not take the weather warning to heart, or just omitted to grit roads. Hope you get to see Nesta. Mmmm, last minute Christmas cards, yeah me too! Take care, and hope your week goes well. Stay safe on the roads everyone. Bx

  3. Beautiful cards Ang. Love the colour.
The snow caused cancellation of what I had planned yesterday but at least I managed to put Christmas stuff away, clear the dining room table and tidy my craft room. Then the presents were wrapped and I made a start on a scrapbook for my youngest granddaughter. Not a wasted day!

  8. Beautiful cards. I'm so pleased to hear that you're feeling up to doing a couple of hours volunteering again, I'm sure it'll help you feel better. I forgot to reply to your comment before - yep, all hand stitched. I end up with lots of red dots on my right thigh where I keep sticking my needle in my clothes whilst I cut out or read the next bit! Hope you're keeping warm and well x

  13. Hi Ang sorry a bit late - only two days!! Been Christmas present wrapping at the charity. Very busy time at present though I'm not sure about getting the car out today as had a fair bit of snow and ice but the sun is trying to shine now. Love your cards - chocolate all the way I think with these colours. Hope you are enjoying being back in the shop but would suggest you don't start humping boxes around just yet!! Still got a few cards to make and presents to get for mum but I'll get there. We all do in the end don't we. Happy birthday wishes to Mr D. Love from Jackie xx

  14. Hello Ang,
Such rich and opulent cards, a bit like you!! I remember seeing them in the box on John's show and they looked gorgeous.
I'm a bit hitty missy at the moment as George is taking up my time, I've told him it has to stop as I'm too busy to nurse him! His birthday is the 27th and I haven't made him a card for years. I just pull the old one out and put it among the Christmas cards, he's never noticed yet. Same as his Christmas card, the same one comes out year after year I just put it in a new envelope ha ha. Well, life's too short to make "Husband" cards lol.
Great to see that you are able to go back into the Charity Shop, but don't get carried away and do too much.
