Happy New Year to everyone. Hope that this finds you all relaxed and happy after the festive break. We are all turkeyed out and if I see another chocolate I will pop!
Mr D could quite happily eat the EU chocolate mountain several times over and still isn't overweight............although he has had two visits to the dentist in two weeks to have fillings repaired after munching on a Mars Bar and a Crunchie respectively (other bars of fat and sugar are available lol!!!)
Now, here is the card sample I made for John to match the box from my previous blog post.
I know its a bit blingy but I was partially in festive mode at the time surrounded by mirror card and gems.
Ingredients
Aqua card
Silver mirror card
JND Sandwich Box dies
JND Star Flower Leaves dies
JND Gerbera die
JND MiniTags dies
JND Sentiment stamps
Izink Silver pigment ink
Bling on a roll
Teeny weeny bling
Jelly Tot gem
I cut the Gerbera die 3 times and then cut 2 of the die cuts again with the circle tag dies to graduate the layers on the flower.
I know its seriously over the top but sometimes the inner embellisher bubbles to the surface lol!!!
That's me for today folks. Got a busy couple of weeks ahead (I'll explain soon but involves the hospital rather than anything nice or exciting unfortunately) so need to get on top of a few things on the home front.
Don't forget, my 20% off sale runs to Friday on the website and we still have some spaces left on the Ansty workshop with John on 4th February..........see the poster on the side bar for details.
Once again, Happy New Year to everyone and I hope that it will be kind to you and yours.

Morning Ang, a lovely card to go with the box, and why not have bling, I don't think it is OTT at all. Take care and I hope the hospital visits go well. Have a good day everyone. Bx

ReplyDeleteHi Ang not too bling to my mind a lovely card. Sorry you have hospital visits on the schedule but hope you have some crafting time as well. Love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card today. Like all the bling. Thanks for sharing this with us. Hope the hospital visits go well. Like Mr D I have just come back from the Dentist. A large filling and part of tooth came out on Boxing Day. Was only eating a Pringle! Can’t eat on that side of mouth for 24hrs only other side which is very difficult as had Bells Palsy that side and after 10 yrs is still numb that side. Think it will be liquids.
ReplyDeleteHi Ang, Happy New Year to you xx. Love the box and the colour....very me!! We too, are munching our way through all the Christmas goodies.....every year I say I wont buy as much and every year I buy the same amount LOL !! I'll worry about my weight and chloesteral levels next month !! Janice xx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteA little bling isn't a bad thing, and goes beautifully with the box.
I see Littlelamb is making excuses for a liquid diet, I've told her that Gin will be the ruin of her!!!
I do hope your upcoming weeks don't necessitate a stay in hospital, and hope every procedure or examination is a success. Rest assured, we are all thinking of you.
love Maureen xxx

ReplyDeleteHi Ang,
DeleteI love this card. I'm not normally a blingy person either but I love everything about it!
Still on my crutches. I'm still waiting to go to see the consultant after 7 weeks.
Appointment in 3 weeks time to find out if I need an operation or not. I've torn and bruised my cartilage, torn a ligament and have aggravated my arthritis in my knee.
I'm so greedy, lol. So, it's looks like I will have to carry on crafting. Sounds like a film...oooh err matron, lol .
I hope you're OK. I bet you're fed up of hospitals too. It's a good job we have our crafting to keep our sanity, lol.
Take care xxx
