MAWTT Challenge 67. . . . . .

Good morning all. Hope you are well.

Just a quicky today (said the bishop to the actress) as I am typing this at 11.30pm on Wednesday evening.

Its time for another challenge over at MAWTT and this time the theme is............

Easter

Now, I hadn't got anything in an eggy line so I decided on a floral choice. I always think of daffodils at this time of year so I created my own host of golden daffodils (that's as cultured as I get, except for what may be lurking in Mr D's sandwich box when he's left it in his bag for a week).

Ingredients
Cream, black and vintage gold card
Gold scraper foil (some still available on my website)
John Lockwood Daffodil Burst stamp
Teeny gold bling
Inkylicious sentiment stamp (on the inside)
Hougie for scoring

Its quite a big and bold stamp so I kept the front minimalistic so the focus would just be on the front panel. As previously, I stamped the image with Picket Fence distress ink then scratched the pattern.

Anyhoo, get yourselves over to MAWTT to see what my teamies have come up with and to join in with your Easter creations.

See you soon.

  1. Lovely to see the daffodils blooming and on your card. Spring is here! Though forecast for weekend might bring a bit more cold!

  4. A beautiful Easter card with a host of golden daffodils. I immediately started reciting the poem in my head. I love that poem. I have not used the scraper foil. I don't think we have this product in the USA.

  17. A classic beauty today. I don't know how to do this technique but I think it is something a friend of mine was talking about at lunch one day and I really didn't "get it" plus she never made cards. Seeing your card I see the effect just not "the how to". Very striking and John's stamp is one to wish for.
PS. Do all Men have labs in their lunch boxes?

  21. Hi Ang! I keep losing track of you, my goofy reader doesn't display your thumbnails anymore and I can't figure out what the pesky problem is. Your card is just gorgeous, I love the idea of florals for an Easter card. The black and gold are super elegant, just love it!!

The weather here has been so dull and grey, I would actually call it a complete lack of weather!! No sun, no rain, no snow, just grey, grey and more grey. Good thing I have tons of new crafting supplies to play with. lol. Still haven't brought myself to pick up my camera, but I did take a walk to the lake the other day to check out the gazillion seagulls that were making a ruckus. lol. Well I hope you have a great week my friend, sending hugs :)
