Good morning everyone. Hope this finds you all enjoying the warm spell.
I have managed to have a potter in the garden and a very convivial meet up with my chum PeeJay. My growbags are just waiting for the specialist tomatoes I have ordered. Thought we would be different and have a variety of different colours this year so I have ordered a white one, a long yellow one, a blue/black one, an orange one with pink stripes and a green one with pink flesh. Should make for some colourful salads.
Now today's card is one that I forgot to blog. I sent it to my dear friend Kate (Cuilliesocks) last year as a good luck for a concert she was singing in with the Inverness Choral Society.
Very CAS for me but does what it says on the tin lol!!!
Ingredients
Cream and black card
Musical notes die
Can't remember where the sentiment was from
Black pearlage
Hougie for scoring
Kate was very appreciative and I thought I should get this on the blog as she has just performed in another concert for which I have sent another card lol!!!
Well, that's me for tonight (I am scheduling) as I had a very disturbed night sleep last night (Monday) and the eyelids are getting heavy.
Just a parting couple of snaps of the lovely wisty.......I do hope that June F has re-thought where she plans to try and stick the bells lol!!!
Be good!!!

ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, oh yes this sample is wonderful, elegant but does exactly what it says on the tin, might have a go at something like this myself if that is OK with you.
ReplyDeleteThe Wisty is coming along beautifully, love the pictures.
Now go and get some sleep.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning Ang,
ReplyDeleteLovely CAS card. I know just how you feel with little sleep I toss and turn most nights.

I expect they were very much appreciated.
Super photos of the Wisteria.
Hope you are getting some sleep now as a person that doesn't sleep I know what it's like.
Especially when on the blog and your eyelids get very heavy.
I know I have fell asleep at the keyboard at times, but not for long. LOL.
Lots of crafty love and hugs. Jenny L.

ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteLovely card and - as you say - it does what it says on the tin. No wonder Culliesocks was pleased to receive it, now I'm looking forward to seeing this year's!!
Your wisty is coming on great, but call me fickle as having seen the house on pages 10 and 11 of today's Daily Mail, I'm contacting the WART team to see if we should change our target, especially as you are training the Ninjas to attack on sight ha ha.
I hope you are keeping well and getting some sleep now.
love Maureen xxx
Hi Ang, yes I certainly appreciated this gorgeous card, made me sing all the better for it LOL. It's such a wonderful stylish design. Just wait for the wonderful comments from your Followers on this year's card.
ReplyDeleteHope you get a better sleep tonight, hugs Kate x

ReplyDeleteYour card is stunning and I am sure Kate appreciated it. Your future tomatoes sound delicious. For me, there is nothing better than a good tomato sandwich or a homemade tomato pie!

I love your very CASlicious musical card for the sweetly musical Kate, Ang! Well done! And I love your photography of your Wistie and the pretty sounds of those tomatoes!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteA super card and like you say it does what it says on the tin
ReplyDeleteThe tomatoes sound lovely which is a shame for me I’ve had to stop eating them as they’re citrus - hey ho
The Wisty look lovely The Ninjas are doing a fantastic job
A lovely card to wish a friend a good performance. I am sure she was delighted.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen such tomatoes as you have described. I live in the South where change is slow. I guess that applies to tomatoes too. You will be posting some pictures of the rainbow tomatoes when they grow, I am sure.
The wisteria is very pretty. We do have wisteria here although I don't personally. My old little dog is probably relieved if it needs paroling.
Everyone, have a sunny day,
