Good morning folks, hope you're all well.
My goodness, the weather has changed. The thicker duvet made a guest appearance for a few nights but we are back to the Summer one again now. The nights are drawing in too so that means Autumn is on the way and woolly socks, hot chocolate and Chr........., ooooooh I nearly said it lol!!!
Now, on a festive note, this is another of the samples I made for John's last shows but I think I saw it lurking at the back of the set.
I had cut the snowflakes out for another card and thought the waste looked pretty good and so this card was born.
Ingredients
White and blue card
Silver mirror card
JND Snowflakes die
Pearlage
Very simple card so would be great for festive batch making and also great if you have some DL envelopes to get rid of lol!!!
Well, time for my hot lemon and half the chemist's stock (I swear I rattle if you shake me lol!!!) before bed (i'm scheduling).
But not before saying, I hope that June S had a lovely birthday, June F is feeling better and that was lovely reminiscing from Maureen.
But before I go, a couple of Kitty pics for you to coochy coo over. I can't believe that they are one next week. Its hard to remember a time when they weren't here..........and we had wallpaper and curtains lol!!!
Sooooooooo cute!!!
Have a great week.

Morning Ang, your card is fabulous, if that is using up the left over waste, I am all for it. Love the Kitty pics. Take care. Have a great day everyone. Bx
ReplyDeleteI Love using the waste peixes nas tais os a lovely card. Wow the kitties are a year old where does the time go xxx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, beautiful sample using the waste, I think I did see this lurking in the background on Hochanda, I wonder if John has gotten over the shock of how great his release is...... so deserved.
ReplyDeleteYes I had a lovely birthday although we were travelling to Swindon for a few days break which was really nice, spent with my twin sister and her hubby, the 4 of us spent quality time together, could not have been better.
I am in the middle of batch making wedding favors for my niece's wedding in a couple of weeks, you should see my craft room, oh dear no I could not subject you to that mess, you would be ashamed of me.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning Ang,
ReplyDeleteLove your waste card.

Methinks I need new lounge curtains cos I went and pulled them across end ripped a huge tear in the lining. Can't blame it on the cats as we don't have any!! Lovely card using up the snowflake waste. Surprised they hadn't melted in the summer heat. . Now it's getting cooler does that mean your neighbour will be out and about showing off his wears. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHi Mrs D, Love this card,so effective and knowing it was the waste piece even better, OOOh the girls are absolutely adorable and lovely that they have stayed such friends and worth a bit of wallpaper and torn curtains perhaps they were interior designers in another life !!! Stay well,Lots of Love Barbara D xxx
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI'm ashamed to say that I have never used any of my card or paper waste in all the years that I've crafted. Your beauty today shows me that I should think about placement when cutting out.
You can now remove the dries clear glue from the cats and let them roam free lol.
Hope you are keeping well.
love Maureen xx
Shiny and snowflakey! Just what you want from a Chrissy card!! Beautiful, Ang! Thank you for sharing the coochy coo photos of your two little babies! Wow, a year old already!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLovely card Ang. I haven’t tried this die yet. Unfortunately too many other cards to make at moment but I will give this a try. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card in what is really the waste Makes the die extremely versatile
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the kitties And one year old! Where has that year gone
Love the card...I love blue and silver and you are right not to waste the waste.
ReplyDeleteThe kitties are all grown up. My "baby" dog turned 14 on the 31rst. Time does rush by and even though we are in summer weather here, I know it can go in a flash.
Have a great Wednesday (or Tuesday if that applies),
Stephanie K
What a great use of the waste, Ang. I need to get going on my c..s cards but I have a long list of specials/orders to do first.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you at Stoneleigh - Jan, Karen and I are going on the Friday.
Take care.
Anne (Northampton)
Hi Ang another great card and I love the photos of your little furry friends.

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteA really lovely card and another benefit of John’s idea of cutting several things at once. It means everything is evenly spaced. When I eventually get my Craft Room back I will give this a try! Waiting for a Decorator is no fun!!
Love your kittens!
Love Myra xx
That photo of the girls snuggling up is just adorable, and one year old, where has the time gone???
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Ang, very simple design, but so stylish, speak Saturday, take care, Kate x
