Zigzag Tri-fold. . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope this finds you all well.

I am typing this Thursday night to schedule for Friday morning and watching the live bowel surgery at the same time so I apologise for any typing errors if I get distracted.
I did watch the cardiac surgery on Tuesday night, which Mr D thought was a bad idea for someone awaiting a cardiac procedure lol!!!

Thank you for your kind comments about my latest eclipse card. Suzzie, I will construct an eclipse tutorial over the next few days and pop it at the top of the page. Stephanie, I got my large alphabet dies from eBay. They are 5cm in height.

Now, I am back to John's Christmas samples and today's is a tri-fold card using the Snow Scene dies along the edges.

Ingredients
White card
Silver mirror card
JND Snow Scene dies
JND Festive Greetings die
Crafts Too "Merry Christmas" stamp
"Snow" mixed with Silver Flash glitter (glitter on my website)
Shine Dust glitter

I used all three of the dies in the set descending in a zigzag down the card.
Something a little different.

Maureen, you did make me laugh (for once) with your gagging gag. I'm sure that Myra has tried for some time to gag you lol!!!

Time to sign off now as the operation is getting interesting now and I need to go to bed soon as need a good night sleep to be ready for my first workshop tomorrow,
I have asked the ladies to be gentle with me. Hopefully, I won't disappoint them.

Hope you all have a happy Friday.

TTFN
Ang x

  2. Hello Ang, what an incredibly lovely card. Can I commission you to make all my Christmas cards please? I passed on the surgery programs, too much of a wimp. Hope the workshop goes well, I am sure it will, because you are very talented and have brilliant ideas, so I am sure you will pass on plenty of inspiration. Take care. Have a great day everyone. Bx

  9. Hi Ang what a super card. Have a lovely time at your workshop everyone will be thrilled to be there so I'm sure it will go well. I didn't watch last night but did watch the knee surgery the night before as I have a knee that complains at times and wanted to know what I might have to endure in due course!! Hopefully though surgery will have moved on in leaps and bounds by then. Love from Jackie xx

  11. Hello Ang,
A really pretty card and so Christmassy! I like it a lot. I hope today is going well and I’m sure everyone will enjoy it and have a lot of fun! As others have said - wish I were a bit nearer!
Maureen is having Tinternet Troubles !! So it may be a case of Peace in our Time! - for now anyway!
I’m not brave enough to watch scary programmes!!
    Lots of love,

  15. Hello Ang,
As you will see, my internet is up and running again - can you believe Myra saying that she can't watch scary problems - and yet she looks in the mirror daily ha ha. (oh dear, do you think I've gone too far this time?)
I hope yesterday was a big success, that you enjoyed yourself, and that people treated you with the deference and humility to which someone in your crowned state is entitled!
Your card yesterday - or in my case, today - is lovely. I really like the fact that you've curved the tops of the tri fold and not just gone for bog standard straight lines. It adds that special something! (I was going to say je ne sais quoi but don't know how to spell it!!!)
    love Maureen x

  18. Is that a card or a wedding cake? Oh, holy, wow, Ang, it is ... some word that hasn't been invented yet that tops spectacular, excellent, scrumptious, outstanding ... you get the idea!! And why are you watching live serious surgeries? Watching them where? I swear I'm reading all your posts, but I have not seen any precursor, which made me curse, sir! Have I forgotten that you're going to be a doctor or a nurse or what the Tom Foolery is going on over there at the Pond?! ❤Hugs, Darnell

  19. WOW! What a lovely card. I do love these cascading tri-fold cards but can't quite figure them as I am folding challenged it seems. Your card is perfect.
Thanks for the tip on the large letter set. I need some large, bold ones like you have used.

  20. Hi Ang! Gorgeous card! Love the trifold idea. As a person who can't look when they take blood there is no way I could watch a surgery! You have nerves of steel. Hope all goes well with your workshop!
