MAWTT August Challenge

 

Good morning lovely crafting folk. Hope you are all well.

I can't believe that we are in August already. I know its a cliche but this year is really speeding by.

At last we have a bit of Summer weather. Thankfully a fair bit of sunshine to ripen the tomatoes and peppers and warm the bones.

I have a week off this week for some much needed R&R. Couple of days out planned with hubby but otherwise, chilling.

Today marks the start of another challenge over at MAWTT and for August, we would like to see your creations with a SUMMER FUN theme.

Now, I'm using artistic licence here when I say Summer Fun. Just because golf would not be Summer fun for me, it probably is for a lot of folk. 😁

Ingredients

Cream, green and brown card.

Papermania "Happy Birthday" embossing folder 

Docrafts Golfer topper

SB nesting rectangle dies

Tea Dye ink

A topper just stuck to a card is never going to be the most exciting of things so I tried to zhuzh it up a bit, using the embossing folder and coloured layers.

Been watching some of the Olympic Games. Interesting opening ceremony (I'm being polite) but some great results from Team GB so far.

Upsetting to see 2 incidents of horses being mistreated. Perhaps if the riders got whipped or choked, they might think twice about doing it again. I'd gladly volunteer for that job!!!
