MAWTT November Challenge

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all fine and dandy. Few health hiccups at this end but I just have to grin and bear it at times.

Its another challenge time at MAWTT (these months are just flying by) and this month the theme is ................ drumroll ..............
SPARKLE

We all love a bit of sparkle don't we?  And sparkle isn't just for Christmas. Today is Diwali and sparkle is obligatory.

This is a card I made for Nesta for a previous Diwali and the paper is very glittery/sparkly as were the string of bling.

Ingredients
Cream and pink card
Gold mirror card
First Edition Storyteller paper
Large alphabet letter dies
Happy stamp
Bling on a string

I love Diwali with all the decorations, lights and special food (especially the sweets). My grandfather was from India so I think its in the blood.
I will be making a trip to our local Asian shopping area to pick up some tasty treats for myself and Nesta.

Well, that's my mouth watering now so I'll go see if there's a biscuit to be had, with the cup of tea that Mr D has just bought in for me.

Please pop over to MAWTT to see what the other gals in the DT have done and why not enter yourself a sparkly project.

Have a great day.

  1. Hi Ang,
well I didn't know you had Indian blood in you I too, I have Indian blood as my Great Grandmother was Indian.
My mother, father, and sisters were born in India and moved to the Uk in 1947 because of the troubles at that time and because half of them was British.
I was the only one born here.
I too love Indian sweets, and curries very hot I might add, because my father used to make them for us.
Maybe that's why I like a lot of sparkly things too.
My Portuguese other Great Grandmother was a Nanny to the RaJ's Children and we have jewellery that they gave her.

I love your card for Diwali it's brillant just the colours you always see in their costumes.
Really like the big lettering as well.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
