Good morning everybody. Hope you are all well.
Its been a busy couple of days here at The Pond with the first orders coming through to the website and all the packing.
You can probably imagine how popular I was with the fella who came and stood behind me as I plonked my bagful of parcels on the desk......... with one cashier on duty lol!!!
Thank you to everyone who has popped by the website and thank you to Sandra K and Jean for joining my merry band of followers.
Now, today's card is one of the favourites I made for John's samples. I know its simple but it appealed to me.
Ingredients
Cream and purple card
John Next Door Butterfly Corners stamps (available on my website)
SW Twinkle Edger die
SB Classic Diamond dies
Memento Dew Drop inks in Sweet Plum, Grape Jelly and Lulu Lilac
Teeny bling
I liked this edger die as, although its part of the festive range, it doesn't scream (or even shout slightly) of Christmas.
I have workshop news.
Following the success of the Ansty workshop last week, John and I have decided to run another one at the end of next month as I know some people couldn't make last weeks'.
Here are the details. . . . . . .
Spaces tend to get booked very quickly so if you would like to come, please contact me on the email address shown on the poster.
I shall be back on Thursday with my DT card for MAWTT so hopefully see you then.
Be good.

Hello Mrs Duck. I have been sneaking a peek at your blog every so often, especially when John prompts us to do so and I find your work quite inspirational. I did make a purchase from your shop over the weekend and am pleased to say that the items arrived this morning - what great service.

It's me again.... my apologies for my blog name showing Ang, my son and grandson (he's 9) have been attempting to rectify whatever carnage I've done when trying to upload my videos to YouTube. I think I'm still in the middle of the battlefield! I'm now stuck with Google Chrome, or something, hence the Poppyfield name showing permanently

Hi Ang,
ReplyDeletewhat a very wonderful card and your design is very brilliant and wonderfully created.
Love the ownderful design it reminds me of the lovely Dutch blue and white work on their potery.
I know your screaming it's purple, but it's showing blue on my screen. LOL.
Hope your new workshop is a great sucess again.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Wow, so beautiful Ang! I don't think this card is simple at all, it looks so elegant and detailed! Clean and streamline, yes, but I bet it sure wasn't simple to make with all the die cutting and glitter work! The end result is just lovely and how much do I adore the itty blings!
ReplyDeleteWell summer is officially over and I have started packing up me new patio to prepare for the cold weather. It looks so blah out there without all the flowers and bright chair cushions. I'm attacking that space with Christmas lights the very moment they pop up in the stores!! lol. Sending hugs to you Ang and hoping all is well with you and yours :)
