MAWTT Challenge 54. . . . . . . . . .

Good morning all you lovely folk. How are you?

More busy days here at The Pond with a hospital appointment and afternoon tea with Nesta. We had bought this as part of Nesta's birthday present but as her Dad has been very unwell, this is the first opportunity we have had to go out.
A lovely day out and a lovely tea.
Glad to here that many of you received your Pond Packages straightaway. Bravo Royal Mail for a change lol!!!

Now today, we have my DT card for MAWTT and the theme for this challenge is. . . . . .

A sentiment as the focal point - no images allowed.

This theme has been chosen by the lovely Christine (Nursey Harrop) who has been known to like a quote or sentiment or two.

Ingredients
White and purple card
SB 2012 Holiday Tree
Kaisercraft Holiday Love stamp (available on my website)
Sequins and teeny gems
Memento Dew Drop Grape Jelly ink

I love this stamp as the sentiment is so true.

Hope you can pop over to MAWTT to see what the rest of the girls have come up with to inspire you and it would be great if you can enter the challenge.

Have a great day and see you soon.

  2. Hello Ang,
Love today's card and if I that wasn't one of the stamps I ordered, I'll have to rectify that. Although the sentiment isn't true in this house ha ha. Hope you're feeling o.k. - just keep breathing!

  8. Super sentiment which I love. It had crossed my mind to use it myself but then decided I would be posting a Christmas card in a couple of days so I gave it a miss. Love the way you have overlaid the Christmas tree with the sentiment. Great card.
I spent a few days with Darren when I went back for my cousin's funeral, which was really nice, and I came back yesterday. Love Christine x

Lovely card indeed and hope you've enjoyed your day

I'm a tad distraught, not been able to access my blog since Monday and I've been told it has now gone to the blog graveyard!!!! Restarting with a new one tomorrow, all being well, but that was my baby sob sob

  13. Hello Ang,
I had one of those Sentiments on my first order form but had to redo it and promptly forgot! How clever of me! The font is so clear , the card is lovely and the sentiment very true!
    Many thanks, Love Myra xx

  14. Ooh er I've missed a few posts (sorry) I do love this stamp and such a pretty way of using it - why did I sell on that tree die! I've sort of come to the conclusion that I'm not a stamper For instance I used an anti-static bag Then used PM and tried to heat emboss with black Well I managed to get PM around the edge of the stamp so then ended up with black powder all over the shop Mananged to gently brush most of it off but caught the edge of the image! I definitely need to practice more
Loved your other makes especially the tartan one x
