Christmas Stamps. . . . . . .Birthday Card

Good morning everyone..................me again.

No further developments to report about the snogging neighbour and The Family Flash. The problem with being home most days is that you see all this strange activity. Its far more interesting than TV lol!!!

Now, today I am back with one of John's show samples. I, like John, like a bit of value out of the old craft gear so I looked at John's new stamps and thought "can I get another occasion out of them other than Christmas?"
So, I ended up with birthday card.

Ingredients
Cream, beige, brown and ginger card
John Next Door Confetti Embossing Folder
John Next Door Build a Wreath stamp set
John Next Door Spring Flowers stamp set (sentiment)
Presscut Circle die
Memento Dewdrop inks in Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand and Peanut Brittle
Cosmic Shimmer Berry Red Pearl PVA Glue
Gold coloured pearlage

To do the centre, I used a craft knife to cut around the sprigs and popped the circle die under the flaps and then cut the circle out.
Would make a nice Autumn or even male birthday card methinks.

Well, busy day today putting new stock onto the website and pricing stock for the pop up shop at John and my workshop at Ansty.
There are still some spaces available so if you decide to pop along, that's fine. Details are on mine and John's sidebars.

Have a great weekend everyone.

  1. That is just beautiful Ang. As you say, you need to use things all the year, not just Christmas.

  5. Lovely card Ang and a very detailed explanation of how it was made. Would love to do a workshop at Coventry but rather a long journey and I did two workshops with John last week which I throughly enjoyed. I am sure all who are going will enjoy it. Take care.

  7. Beautiful card Ang! Love the wreath in the middle and the window peeking to show the sentiment. The neutrals are so soft and elegant and I adore that embossing pattern! Wonderful!!

So I found out that my neighbour who screamed at me about the leaves is a schizophrenic! Great, so I'm living above someone who is paranoid and hears voices! That's not unsettling at all! lol. Hope all is well, sending hugs :)

  8. Lovely card Ang and great colours you have used so thank you for the idea. As you haven't mentioned it I guess like me you won't be watching Mexico with the crazy time it is on!! I'll just listen for the result when I get up on Monday. Off on a mystery cruise on Tuesdy so will catch up when I get back. Love from Jackie xx

Love the wonderful stamped wreath and your colour choices.
It is very clever of your creating this out of some Christmas stamps that way as you say you get excellent value for money.
Are you having troubles with Win 10 mine is driving me nuts.
Tone looked it up and there is a problem since updates.
