Holly Border. . . . . . .

Good morning guys and gals. Hope this finds you well.

It was a busy day on the website Tuesday after John's show. Hopefully, some of you lucky folk got your goodies yesterday and have been having a play.

This is another one of the samples I made for John. I love the combination of cream, black and gold on cards. A classy trinity methinks.

Ingredients
Cream and black card
John Next Door Christmas Textures border stamp (available on my website)
John Next Door Build a Wreath sentiment stamp (available on my website)
Spellbinders Labels 28 dies
Black Archival ink
Gold marker pen (available on my website)
Pearls (coloured gold with the marker)
Black bling

I did cheat and edged some cream card with the gold marker as I had used the marker on the berries and I wanted the same colour for the layers. Its a really lovely rich gold colour pen.
I used the Press To Impress again to do the border. It really is a handy bit of kit.

Had a nice Thai lunch and catch up with Davey yesterday. We both had the Pak Tod and the Pla Rad Prik (Maureen, don't go there................its fish!!!). Yummy.
Smiles with a good friend and a line of washing in the sunshine........Happy days!!!

Nothing more to report from the House of Flash. Hopefully with things getting a bit nippier round the Trossachs, it may prevent any further exposure issues.
However, new (noisy) next door neighbours who are renting from our old lovely neighbours could be a source of drama.
We have seen a chap, who we assumed was hubby in and out and taking the (extremely noisy) kids for bike rides etc but think he works away.
Then I saw the woman sharing tonsils with a fella in the back garden, who wasn't the husband.............there may be trouble ahead.

On that note. I shall bid you adieu.

Have a great Thursday.

TTFN
Ang x

  10. Hi Ang, another lovely card to spoil us, and some great thing on John's show.
Ang, I don't think you need television as you seem to have more than enough entertainment in your street to keep you happy for hours.
Love your blog always get a smile.

  11. Gorgeous Ang! I completely agree about the colour combo, gold with black and ivory is so elegant! That holly border is fantstic, I love how you coloured in just the berries! Wonderful layering of the die cut shapes and the blad bling is just the thing! Oh I made a rhyme! lol.

Neighbours, I could do without them! So the other day, the guy underneath me starts yelling so I go outside to see if he's ok. Turns out he's yelling at me to stop throwing my garbage off the balcony. I ask him what garbage. Just then a gust of wind blows some leaves off the tree above me, he points at the leaves and says.. this! This has to stop he yells again! Crazy damn man thinks I'm responsible for the leaves blowing onto his balcony! Neighbours, I could do without them! hugs :)

  15. Hello Ang,
Opulent and timeless, that's how I'd describe your card today. A bit like me ha ha ha ha.
I couldn't possibly comment on your meal, and as for your neighbours, may I just say that I'm glad they are next door to you and not to me.
    Stay well, just chill out.

  18. Not only are you busy running a new business, but you are now our daily soap opera news reporter, Ang!!! Mrs. Renter either found the new fella fast after the move to the new place or he's been in the shadows before and moving away didn't solve the problem! As The Doodah World Unfolds will return following these brief commercial messages!

Really very classy and elegant card today! I love the color combo, too!! Glad you are doing well!! Hugs, Darnell xxoo

  21. Ooh this is really rather nice Mrs D. Very classy and elegant - and I typed that before I saw the comments above so it really must be classy and elegant! Blimey Ang, where do you get your neighbours from? I'm beginning to feel very left out when I only have cows dining on my front lawn - and even that not for a while now. Christine xx
