Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well and snow free now............I should say to the members of WART, we have 8ft of snow here and the ground is frozen solid so removal of the Wisty would be impossible. Forecasts are that its here for at least the next 6 months by which time Molly and Lily will have gone through their feline ninja training and will be poised to protect their territory, so any further attempts to employ a birdlike drone will be met with disaster.
I have been better this last couple of days but thank you for your kind concern. Its always just when I think all is pootling along nicely but what can you do.
Welcome to Stephanie, alias Pawprintsx4. Thank you for your lovely comment and for pressing the "follow" button.
I noticed that I am not too far from 200 followers now so I shall come up with a Paddle Prize for when I hit the 200. I will put a photo of something up soon.
Now, I'm still sharing the samples I made for John and as I only had the Gerbera Panel and Gerbera Circles dies, I had to be quite inventive at times. As I didn't have the Gerbera Flower die, I cut the Gerbera Panel die 3 times and cut the flowers from that and layered them up to create these blooms.
Ingredients
Cream and lilac card
JND Gerbera Panel die
JND Gerbera Circles dies
JND sentiment
HC Delicate Asters dies (Leaves)
Tonic punch (Small flowers)
Various green and lilac inks
Hougie for score lines
Jelly tot gems
Pearlage
A simple card but understated enough to even use as a sympathy card methinks.
Well, the dentist seemed to go ok. A couple of filling repairs and no numbing up required so, so far, so good.
Today, I'm taking The Girls back to the RSPCA for round 2 of their shots so hopefully, there will be no shananigans with getting them into their carrier ***...........perhaps I should put pieces of my curtains, rug and wallpaper in with them as these are items that they have a close personal relationship with lol!!!
Here are some latest gratuitous itty bitty kitty pics..............
Molly Mogs
Lily Kins
Oh, don't they look as if butter wouldn't melt lol!!!
Off to their new vets later in the week for a meet and sniff (the kitts, not me..........well, depends what the vet looks like lol!!!) and they will probably hope that they don't need their temperature taking..........there is an advantage to being human sometimes!!!
Yorkie Wendy, sorry you have not been well. Hope that you are better but please see above regarding any planned Wisty assault.
Hope you have recovered from your fall too Jeanie. I still can't have alcohol so can't use that as an excuse anymore for my clumsiness lol!!!
Maureen, I have no sympathy with you swapping bugs with Wendy as I know it is that poor misguided woman who is being led astray by you.
As Myra says, it would be cheaper and less infectious to buy your own Wisties lol!!!
Anyhoo, this won't get the lady a baby as my dear Mum used to say (I think it was some strange Malaysian saying lol!!!) so better scoot.
Be good all.

*** Update on the pet carrier
We had invested in a covered litter tray (less scatterage and pongage......hope I haven't put you off breakfast/lunch/dinner).
I put the pet carrier in the kitchen last night for them to get used to it ready for their trip today and Lily went straight into it..........great, or so I thought.
She obviously thought it was a new toilet facility and promptly peed in it!!!
I'm hoping that the same thing doesn't happen on the way to the RSPCA as its about 5 miles away...........wish me luck!!!
I must admit that when I saw the covered litter box in the pet store window it reminded me of the carrier Charlotte uses for her felines so I'm not really surprised that Lily thought it was a new loo ... lol! This is a beautiful card Mrs D and extremely suitable for a condolence card. Take care. Christine xx

Morning Ang, I love this card, the simplicity of it and one I think I will be copying.
ReplyDeleteDo hope that you are continuing to feel better and your visit to the Vets
with Molly and Lily goes well. I have purchased several tins of cat food should Maureen and I need it on planned raid.

Stunning cards Ang, I love the colours and design, and a design that'll suit any occasion.
ReplyDeleteLoving the kitties and yes your quite right, they look totally innocent of any wrongdoing. Email later today, Kate x x
Hello Ang, your card is really lovely, great use of the panel die to make up the flowers. Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Love the pictures of the little felines, hope the RSPCA and vet trips go ok. Take care all. Bx
ReplyDeleteGood morning Ang, hope your day is going well with your trip to the vets. Beautiful card, just shows how inventive one can be with a limited selection of goodies. Take care of your self, love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteHi Ang this is a stunning card I love the colours. The way you have used the dies is amazing. I hope all went well with the trip to the vets. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful card this morning (here). You do a terrific job with limited supplies. I think John owes you more. I am awaiting my JND order from Hochanda to be rowed across the pond or dropped by Passenger Pigeon (or so it seems when I am waiting). I appreciate your inspiration so I'll have something to try out first. I think it would make a lovely Mother's Day card as well.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the kittens at the vet. I have a little dog but I used to volunteer at our humane society and took kittens home that needed meds for a couple of weeks. They are cute little devils and are a lot of fun to watch so two gives your twice the fun (and mischief).
Stay warm and thank you for the nice welcome!

Hi Ang,
ReplyDeleteI don't know what I love the most, your beautiful cards or your sense of humour!
I laughed out loud when you mentioned sniffing the vet!
The card has inspired me as it's so lovely and I'm glad you are feeling much better.
I'm a bit more mobile now and having physio so things are getting better I think.
Love your two mischievous girls. Keep posting pictures. We'll all have a collection to get you some B & Q vouchers for new wallpaper etc.
Love,
Jayne xx
Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteThis a real beauty! It’s one of my favourites with the Dies so far ! I’ve been using the square one to cut flowers as well!! They are lovely and the foliage is so realistic!
Hope the pussy cats behaved!
Glad you are feeling ok just now! That’s good news.
Many thanks,
Love Myra x
Beautiful card Ang - your "girls" are gorgeous and so innocent looking!

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card today. It's very elegant, a bit like me ha ha.
The moggies are cute as buttons and the story of the pet carrier is just typical!
Never fear about us and 8ft of snow. My Arctic expedition training will come in very handy and Wendy has climbed Everest so we will handle that no bother!!!
Glad you are feeling better, long may it continue.
love Maureen x
Just beautiful Ang. Please keep the samples coming.

DeleteBlogger is playing me up something chronic - I’ll need to see a doctor and get some pills for it
A beautiful card Ang and has been said would be good for a Sympathy card. Will remember this card. Glad you are feeling better. Hope all went well at the vets.
ReplyDeleteYour post reminded me of when I had to take my very pregnant cat to the vets and she had to have her temperate taken. Course she started squirming as soon as the vet came near her. After several tries on his own I got told to "Hold her head stil whilst I just pop it in". Well Kaddy wasn't having any of that either and promptly swivelled her head round out of my grasp and sank her teeth into my arm. The result was the Vet giving Me a tetnus shot!!! Hugs Mrs A. Oh yes I could tell you a few cat tales to put hairs on your chest if ever you need any.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful card, Ang. It just shows how versatile the dies are.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have been feeling better.

ReplyDeleteTalking of peeing, gonna have to take his lordship out, I make him wait until I have had my brekky and he has had his,

We buy puppy pads or bed pads and put those in the base of our cat carriers when transporting a puss. It absorbs any mess at once and can be quickly replaced. Wrapping the pad in a nappy sac keeps the niff down and makes for hygenic disposal too. Had cats over 30 years. Our latest one is a Golden Oldie we have taken in through a local charity. Within minutes we were her devoted servants, and crafting to fundraise for the charity has kept me sane over the years and the physical pain at bay. I found your site this morning and fell out of my w'chair laughing at the name. Of course I am one of John's crafting followers and have heard your name many times. Love the cards as elegance is my style. Keep up the good work X
