Good morning everyone. Hope that you are all well.
Its been a funny old week weather wise. Sun, wind, rain and a combination of all 3.
Certainly, The Minxes have decided that they do not like the rain so I will be equipping them with little macs and wellies so that they can still patrol the grounds.
Now, today's card is another that has been lurking on my files since last year. It was one of the samples I made for one of Daisy's Jewels and Crafts Hochanda shows.
Ingredients
Cream and black card
CE Swirling Hearts embossing folder
Daisy's Jewels and Crafts Art Deco Rose stamps
Black Archival Ink
Gold Sharpie pen (for the leaf veins)
Gold pearlage
Its a pretty stamp and I think you could get away with it for wedding, anniversary or sympathy cards. Another quite CAS card for me.
No Ninja Kitty pics today otherwise you will getting kitty overload lol!!!
Maureen, I don't know who has given you slanderous information about my undergarments but all I shall say is, I am practising my catapult techniques (not literally cat) with diamante thongs.
June S and Myra, I can imagine John being mildly nervous if you started putting on rubber gloves at one of his workshops..........you didn't used to work for customs, did you?
Jan, would love to see some pics of Dave's pride and joy when the racemes are out.......don't worry, I wont divulge where you live as I don't want WART mounting a two pronged attack.
June F, hope that Mr F had a super birthday and you didn't tease him with the photo.
Had some better blood test results this week so not all of me is falling to pieces. Had a nice evening out with a school chum and off out to lunch today with some old work friends. We are going for a Mexican so I shall be shaking my maracas.
Then a busy afternoon packing parcels of goodies as hopefully, my Crafts Too delivery will be here tomorrow with John's new stamps and media plates.
Have a great weekend.

Morning Ang, another laugh this morning, your quips and comments always make me smile. The card is beautiful, love the subtle touch of gold. Glad to hear that you have had some good medical results. Take care. Have a great day everyone. Bx
ReplyDeleteThe whole concept of this card is so elegant and could easily be reproduced with another pretty stamp. This one is beautiful. Well done.
ReplyDeleteGlad your test results have been better. Looking forward to my parcel of goodies...
Racemes are on hold again as it’s been cooler this week!

Hi Ang, glad to hear that some of your results are better. This is a very elegant card and I think it would very well as a condolence card. The stamp is lovely. We had a beautiful, if chilly day, yesterday for my WI trip to Kelmscote Manor. Today John and I were supposed to be having a day out and it's absolutely hissing down and supposed to be the same all day. Ah well, that's the way of the world -I was thinking of the playwright William Congreve but others might have Earth, Wind and Fire in their mind. And that's my nugget of learning passed on for today. Christine xx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, beautiful card today, such a lovely stamp and as you say can be used for so many occasions.
ReplyDeleteoh you have had me in stitches with your comments about John and the rubber gloves - he will really laugh when he reads that.
Pleased about the bloods - mine came back good too this week.
Off to a groovi/parchment workshop tomorrow and out Saturday evening for a meal with friends then out all day on Sunday for a craft workshop - so a busy weekend for me.
Anyway it is pouring with rain and miserable here in Kent, hope it is better for you.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Such an elegant card, Ang. Glad to hear you have had some positive health news.
ReplyDeleteAnne (Northampton)
Hi Ang, so glad to hear that you have had some good news on the medical front - about time.
ReplyDeleteYour card is as always beautiful.
Ang, thank you for the information re the fact that Jan also has a Wisteria, we will of course have to add it to the list of targets.
Enjoy your day out (can you please notify us earlier when next you are going out, it would help us when planning our raid)
Wendyx
good morning Ang, like others it is grey and wet here but your words always bring a smile - I was going to say ramblings but thought it was a bit rude!!A beautiful design on your card and sympathy does come to mind but it can of course be blinged up a bit. Glad you are able to gad about a bit more, take care, love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteHello Ang. Pleased to hear your blood tests were good. Love today’s card. Looks a very useful stamp. Wet and miserable today. Have a good day.
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely understated card today, I think it's suitable for sympathy -especially in these colours.
You have Myra sized up in one. When she dons those rubber gloves, all sane minded people take to the hills, but I didn't realise that June was the same ha ha.
Glad you've had some good news about your bloods, and hope this marks an upturn in your hospital visits.
As regards going for a Mexican, I'll have any nationality as long as he's over 85, very rich and on his last legs ha ha.
I'm pleased to see that Wendy is noting suitable other raid venues as it broadens our choices.
love Maureen xxx
Afternoon Ang,
ReplyDeleteLovely card.

I wish I lived nearer my social life would be more interesting I'm sure.
So glad your have got some good news on the health front for a change.
Poor kitties they don't like the rain but don't you think you might have let the cat out of the bag telling us as your know that's when they are going to pounce.
Oh but on second thoughts that gives you window for more caution when it rains. LOL!!!!
We certainly do experience some different changes in the weather latley.
I am feeling quite cold while writing this.
Last week it was nearly bikini weahter.
Not that I have the figure to wear one, but we won't go there will we.
Sorry I digressed your card is very lovely and what a very beautiful stamp.
Love the embossing it looks so raised and very wonderful.
Lots of crafty love, and gentle hugs. Jenny L.
