Back To Samples. . . . . . . . .

Good morning all. Hope you are all well and still enjoying the clement weather.

I love the heat but not at night when you I'm trying to sleep. There was a moment yesterday when the sky turned black so I had to leg it outside to get the washing in but there were about 3 drops and that was it.

At the risk of turning into my parents, I will say that the garden needs it. Thank goodness we have in irrigation system so we don't have to stand for ages with a hosepipe. Its now primed with smart water in case there is a WART or TART raid.

Now, thank you for your kind comments about Andy's clock but its back to John's last show samples and still running with the a stamp is not just for Christmas theme.
I managed to get a few samples done with Christmas stamps that were not Christmas cards.
When I saw the palm trees, I immediately thought "tropical beach".

Ingredients
White, black and orange card
JND While Shepherds Watched stamps
JND sentiment
Various distress inks

I created the Sunset scene with various distress inks and drew in the hammock and birds. I stamped the shepherd without his staff and and used the shack too.

Something else that's different to use your Christmas stamps for...............everyone loves a bit of value for money.

Off out with Davey, Nesta and another friend today for lunch in Birmingham (Yes Kate, I do have a voucher lol!!!).

Sadly, no Three Lions in the World Cup Final, which is a shame, as they did well until the last game. No doubt, Mr D will still want to watch the final so I will probably have a tinker in the craft room doing some more new samples for Mr L and The Girls lay on the floor chewing ribbon.
To be fair, they have been doing a splendid job protecting my radishes from any potential Forage And Radish Team (FART) attack.

Don't be fooled into think they are sleeping, They can spring into attack before you can say "Wiskas".

Have a great weekend.

  2. Hello Ang, what a fabulous card, very inspiring to use stamps for other occasions than they were designed for. Love the pic of the girls guarding the plants. Have to laugh at the acronyms you are coming up with. Have a great day everyone. Bx

  13. I saw John's show on Hochanda and I had a good laugh over this card! I adore it! Beautiful and quirky at once.
The girls must be chilling so they can catch any varmints (or ribbon) when needed.
    Have a lovely Sunday,
