Wine anyone?. . . . . . . . .

Good morning all. How you doin? Bloomin December eh??? Doesn't seem 5 minutes since January.

Been a miserable and wet few days here except yesterday when I managed to get some washing out.

Its been a nice week with Mr D. Had a good chuckle at Johnny English at the cinema. He has half passed his MOT but waiting for blood test result for his cholesterol (that's Mr D not Johnny English).
I had to go to the hospital for my blood test as its a special type that can only be done at the hospital. However, after sitting in a queue of traffic for half an hour trying to get into the car park, I suddenly realised that I had forgotten my blood test form, doh!!!
It then took another 15 minutes to be able to get somewhere we could turn around to get out.

Mr D didn't say a word but he did seem to be gripping the steering wheel a little tighter...........probably imagining it was my throat lol!!!

Now enough of my mental inadequacies and back to the card. Yes, I'm still getting through TV samples and this one was made for John's shows with the birdcage dies.

Ingredients
Cream and burgundy card
Black gloss card
JND Birdcage die
Crafts Too Fancy Lattice embossing folder
JND sentiment
Bling on a string
Acetate

I made the glass out of one of the birdcage dies and glitzed it up with the bling on the stem.
The bottle was just handcut out of black gloss card.

A bit of fun.

Well that's me for now. Scheduling and have an early start as I am meeting Davey and we are meeting another friend in Birmingham for lunch (yes Kate, I have a voucher lol!!!) but we are going to have look round the German Market first........and maybe a sneaky look in the Radley shop 😆 x

Have a great weekend.

Ps........Myra, Maureen who???

  1. Morning Ang, oh this sample is amazing, absolutely love it, ideal for special people for any occasion, yes get's my vote, even though I very rarely drink, but I might have a small glass with my Christmas lunch this year.

I can imagine that if I was in your shoes and forgot the blood form and had to go back for it,, there would have been steam coming out of the roof of our car ha ha.....my hubby has no patience at all and would not let me forget it. Hope the results are what you want. xx

Enjoy yourselves at your lunch. - I arrived back home from Birmingham yesterday after visiting family but didn't know about the Christmas market, oh well maybe next year.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  5. Hi Ang, I'm just imagining the scene, in the car, Mr.D's silence screamed more than words would have.
Hope you have good results. I've got my doctor's telephone appointment on Wednesday, I'm a bit ambivalent about it.
Anyway, your card as ever is amazing, beautifully designed and I just love the sentiment, isn't that just what we gals do, have a fab weekend, Kate x

  6. Hello Ang,
What an amazing use of the birdcage Dies! Very clever! I like that a lot. I like too how you have used the bottle on the card too!

  8. Oh yes!!! Definitely imagining he was wring your neck!! John goes extremely quiet on occasions like this too so I do know that feeling. Super card though and love the bling along the stem of the glass. Hope you had a great time at the German Market. We went last year but this time we went to the Worcester Victorian Christmas Market on Friday in that beautiful weather. Had a lovely day. Christine xx

  9. Very clever and fun card. I love the way you always see different things in dies.
We all forget things. I am getting very bad about starting off and having to go back to the house for them. We started for the beach this summer and had to turn around for the dog's crate. I didn't forget the dog at least.
All the markets sound like fun. We don't have anything like that near me. I do have all the rain though.
    Have a good week,
    Stephanie K

  10. Such a clever idea - I can never see other ideas and when people on the likes of C&C (Sorry)
say they can see “so and so” from waste die cuts etc I’m like “really?”
You did make me smile about the blood form debacle My OH would have definitely had his hands around my neck and tirade of expletives- he loves me really

  11. Hello Ang,
Love today's card, it's a very clever use of a totally different die.
My George wouldn't say a word because I forget nothing, I am the very paragon of a wife ha ha ha ha.
Don't believe Myra she hangs on to my every word, but that could be because I have a rope around her neck!!!
    love, as always
