Snowflake Patterns. . . . . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope you are well.

Thank you for your comments on my last post. I must add that I have yet to return to the hospital for Blood Test....The Sequel. We had somewhere else to be so there wasn't time to return home to get the forgotten form so I will attempt a re-run this week at some point.

Had a lovely trip over to Birmingham with Davey on Saturday to meet another friend for lunch so we had a stroll around the German Market. Some fab things on the stalls and we shared a bag of churros yummmmmm!!! Davey is a bit of a churros officianado and gave them a big thumbs up.
He obviously hadn't had enough of me as we met up again yesterday at Costa for a sample of their caramelised orange and cream coffee.........Mmmmmm!!!

Now, back to the matter in hand. Yet another John sample from ancient times, just pretty patterns with the stamps.

Ingredients
White and purple card
JND square dies
JND Snowflakes stamp set
Memento Dew Drop inks

Although its a Christmas set of stamps, the card doesn't scream Christmas to me and could just be used as a notelet card.

Well, best crack on as I have some craft fairs coming up and need to replenish my stock.

Hope you all have a super week.

  1. Morning Ang, you are one busy lady. This is a beautiful sample and yes as you say it is not necessarily for Christmas, the colours look amazing too.

Got to crack on with writing my Christmas cards out today ready to post.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  4. Hi Ang this is a stunning card. I love the way you have used the stamps. The German market sounds like fun. We love churros. I go to Winchester once a week so I have visited the Christmas Market there and the rather different one in Southampton. Enjoy the rest of the week. Take care. Hugs Jackie

  5. Hi Ang very pretty design that could be used all year round. You've certainly be getting about a bit this past few weeks and having a great time. I've not been able to do any markets this year but I did do the church Christmas fayre last week and sold quite a few bits. Have done quite a bit of knitting whilst mum's been sleeping when I go to see her so time has been put to good use. Hope your fayres go well. Love from Jackie xx

  6. Hi Ang, beautifully designed and I love the colours.
Absolutely love churros, was introduced to them in Madrid where I had them for breakfast every morning dipped into Spanish hot chocolate. Travelling to Glasgow on Thursday, for my meet up, a long day, but looking forward to it. Sounds like you are having fun dining out, quite right too, Kate x

  10. Hello Ang ,
Your card is beautiful! I’d never have the patience or the ingenuity to think of it!! It’s really lovely.
    Thank you!
I’m not keen on churros - too sweet for me! They are very popular.

  12. Lovely card, Ang. I have to admit to never having tried churros. It sounds as if I need a trip to a Christmas market!

  13. Hi Ang
Just been scrolling down your blog and looking at all the lovely cards I have been missing for the last few months. I have made a mental note to get out my punches of which I have sooo many and put them to use again. Well that will be a New Year resolution. Hopefully 2019 will be a better year for me health wise. What on earth are churros?

  14. Love the card Ang and the colours. It doesn't looks Christmassy at all. I tried the Orange latte and it wasn't for me my favourite is the gingerbread and my daughter likes the hazelnut praline xx

  15. I am behind on my posts (and other things). Christmas is rushing at me and I can't go any faster. We have snow. In South Carolina that means everything grinds to a halt. No school, no stores open, mostly no one going to work and a lot of people are out of power and heat. I am lucky there...not a flicker. Two more days and all the ice should go and all the cars will be pulled out of ditches and trees cut up and moved out of the roads. That's when I will venture out.
I am sorry to say I don't know what a churro is so Margaret you are not alone. I assumed it was Mexican, maybe a burrito. Since they are sweet I must be guessing wrong. Will do some research.
The card is very pretty and could be used any time of the year.
