Waste not want not.......Part Deux

Howdydoody everyone. Hope you are all warm and well. Thank you to Michele for popping by the pond. I hope you will visit again soon. Thank you as well Ita for your kind comment. I do try and keep it fun and light hearted. . . . . .don't want you all nodding off now, do I? ZZZzzzzz ...........who's that snoring at the back? LOL !!!

Well, you may remember that I had one remaining piece of waste to use from my Grate Works cutting spree. . . . . .picture above. I had deliberately cut the two pieces this way to try something different. The apertures were filled with cream cuts from one of the other projects.

This is what I came up with....................................................................

Not exactly a masterpiece but not bad for offcuts.

I used one of the SB Decorative Labels One dies to frame the Grate Works pattern. The pieces  do obviously cut out but I just stuck them back in place...........if that makes sense.
I stuck the ensemble onto an A4 sheet of cream card which I had Hougied in half and then.............brace yourself John, used gold peel off lettering and a heart down the side.

Well, that's it for the offcut series of cards. Normal service will now be resumed so I will have to get busy in the craft room.
Take care folks, be good and thanks for popping by for a paddle.

  1. I see you are being hard on yourself over your beautiful off cut card, you crafters what are you like. You should be giving yourself a pat on the back for using up these bits and making lovely cards. Well done.

  4. Now then Ang! Don't you go doing the Serbo Croat on us!:) It's bad enough elsewhere!

Well I can relax now that I have seen all your scraps used up jut think if we all did that we could cut the cost of our card making by a third!! It makes you think.

I really like the card especially the text design of the peel offs! It just goes to show that there is a place for them!! I really like it you have created 3 beautiful cards you must be feeling very smug!!

  7. Brilliant cards Ang, love what you have done with these "bits"

It is a great feeling to create from what others would throw away.
I have done the same for my post later this evening.
Just think of the money we will be able to spend at the NEC Birmingham!!!!!
