Good afternoon crafters Hi Di Hi !!!
Yes, a strange time of day for me to be here but I shall explain. I was going to enter this challenge and thought the closing date was the 23rd for some reason. It is in fact, today!!! So I have had to jump into action and create my card.
Fortunately, I had sketched what I wanted to do anyway so 20 Bitty Blossom roses later, here we are.
This is to enter the Papermill Direct (PMD) June Challenge and the theme is "June".
What makes me think of June is all the beautiful flowers, particularly roses and one of my favourites is a lilac one called Blue Moon. That's why I have come up with this and hope you like it.
What a beautiful day so I took the card off into the garden.
Ingredients
PMD White Hammered card (cut to 6x6 for base card)
Lilac Lidl paper
SB Bitty Blossoms
Sissix Square die set

Evening Angel Thank you for welcoming me It's very heart warming to get a mention The card is gorgeous You must have the patience of a saint making all of those roses and in a favourite colour of mine Must have another try at making them And see if I can get them to turn out better! Funnily enough because I only make cards for family & friends I had to do a card for a June birthday and did it in pearl - the birthstone of June perhaps if I was allowed to enter ( or is it just for you pro's?) I could have submitted that one! Would never in a million years win anything but would have been interested in any feedback Karen (the lotty part is from my daughter's name Charlotte)
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
DeleteDon't know if you'll pop back and see this but, me, a pro? If only chuck lol!
You can enter as long as your able to share your card by blog or social media. . . . .click on the link above and it will take you to Papermills blog, which will explain all.
Hope you can enter, unless your card is fabulous, in which case, please don't enter hahaha!

Hi Ang
ReplyDeleteI think the other ladies are right, you are the striplet queen. They're beautiful, I love the blue one. Your rose cards are stunning, you must be so disciplined to to make cards as often as you do, and the roses must have taken a while, unless you are lucky to have more than one die.
Have a lovely weekend Ang

Well done for jumping into action. I have finally got around to ordering the Bitty Blossoms dies, but still waiting for them to arrive.
ReplyDeleteHi Ang,
ReplyDeleteStunning card gal! Love all the Blue Roses and like the Blue Moon rose their colour is purple, perfect! I used to have a Blue Moon Rose many years ago, don't see many of them about any more.
Great images photographed outside in the garden, really adds to the image.
