Good morning everyone. Hope everybody is well and happy.
Today, its time for another challenge at MAWTT and this time its my turn to host so my theme for this challenge is. . . . . . . . . . . . . . drum roll . . . . . . .
All Kinds of Everything!
Now, that doesn't mean that everything is allowed, it relates to Dana's All Kinds of Everything from the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest (No I didn't see it at the time as I was a little un, probably in bed by 6pm lol!)
I am only including the first verse for the challenge so there are choices but not an overwhelming amount
Snowdrops and daffodils
butterflies and bees
sailboats and fishermen
things of the sea
wishing-wells
wedding bells
early morning dew
all kinds of everything remind me of you
I've been boring and used "butterflies" as it fitted with the vision I had for the card. I was going to do white on white but decided to do cream on cream for a change.
Ingredients
Cream card
SB Bitty Blossoms (sorry, channel set roses again lol!!!)
SB Butterfly Circles (yes, I did need patience gluing all those butterflies on lol!!!)
SB Mary Border Strip (featured on frame between butterflies and roses)
Presscut Square dies
CE Jacobean Floral embossing folder
Woodware sentiment stamp
Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet DI
Pearlage
I hope you can pop over to MAWTT to see what the rest of the DT have created and even better if you can join in.
Apologies if you are getting fed up with channel set Bitty Blossoms. I shall try and come up with something else lol!!!
Mind you, I did love the way this turned out just as I wanted it to. . . . . .a rare event ha!
That's me for now so thanks for popping by and be good.

Update
Saw cardiologist yesterday, hurrah, and he spent over an hour with me and Mr D explaining things and answering my questions very patiently.
He has changed my tablets so I'm hoping that will stop the dreadful side effects I was having with the others but they want me to have a procedure called Cardioversion (has scared me witless but don't think I have much choice) and so he has also put me on an anti coagulant too.
So, some positives with a dose of eeeeeek!!!
Good morning Ang just love this card so pretty and I for one am not bored with your bitty blossoms. Sticking on all the butterflies was definitely a labour of love. So pleased you have seen someone who has explained things so well. Will reply in the next day or two. Love from Jackie xx

Great card and great challenge Ang. I initially went for butterflies too but then changed it when I came across the digi image which suited the challnege perfectly. I'm so pleased that you are getting sorted out finally! I must confess that I was sure he would opt for cardioversion, but you will be absolutely fine so don't worry!! Big hugs! Christine xx

Oh Ang this is gorgeous - so elegant. Your card also looks like a delicious butter cream wedding cake!!
ReplyDeleteGood positive thoughts about the cardioversion. I have no idea what that is. I hope the new med has NO side effects. It sounds to me like you have a good cardiologist.
My best to you Sugar -
Sandy xx
Your card today is spectacular! You are amazing to have cut out and placed all those butterflies. And the patience you must have to also have cut out and rolled all those roses as well as placing them around the design. I have not gotten the "hang" of those rolled roses as yet. Thank you for sharing your design. Praise be to God that you finally got to have a one on one with your doctor. I hope you discussed the issues you had in trying to see him and what should you do if you need him in a hurry or even if you have questions. That being said, I just know you will be okay now with the doctor's help. Stay strong and all will be well. Prayers for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Ang

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteLove your cards like this. So beautiful.
Easy for me to say but don't worry about the Cardioversion. My brother had this done. I'm glad that things are finally moving and hopefully you will soon be revving up like one of your beloved F1 machines. Mind if you can see and deal with Flash, a little thing like Cardioversion will be a walk in the park!!!!
love Maureen xx
Hi Ang! When I saw this gorgeous card my first thought was "perfect for a wedding." Glad to hear you are getting the help you need to feel better. Have a great day.

Hi Ang, You’ve made a very stylish looking birthday card for your challenge… I really like the delicate colour scheme and the die cut butterflies and the border of roses. It is a great theme, I really enjoyed making my DT card for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteHugs Diane Louise xx

ReplyDeletePleased you're getting somewhere at last.

A beautiful card Ang
ReplyDeleteI love the colours and those little butterflies are soo cute.
Glad to hear some positive news on the health front. xxxx
Hi Ang, what a beautiful card. If you need someone to look after it I would like to volunteer to give it a new home. Failing that I think I will have to try and copy it.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that things seem to be moving in the right direction health wise for you, just take card and do what the doctor says.
Wendyx,
What a beautiful card that first photo makes it look as if it was pale gold so I was quite surprised to see it was a beautiful cream. Love all those roses and butterflies.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see what sort of card you would come up with like my circle card.
Do hope you are getting to the root of your medical problem and get some relief soon. My youngest daughter had a timing problem with her heart solved with a snip of a heart muscle.
My hubby is so slowly going down hill and will never be any better. He is just one step away from being in a bed chair or permanently in bed in his room. So very hard to deal with.
Hugs
Margaret M
What a gorgeous card!! Love all the pretty details!
