Good morning everyone. Hope this finds you all happy and well. I'm approaching my 400th post so please see below about a little give away to mark the occasion.
Mr D and I did make it to breakfast with John last Sunday. It was lovely catching up, especially over a yummy Harvester breakfast.
He's a busy boy now over at Paper World Trade Show in Frankfurt on the Creative Expressions stand.
A warm hello to stitchingranny. Nice to hear John has been raving about my cards (I pay him handsomely to do that lol!!!) and thank you for your comment. Hope you will continue to visit.
Now, this was another postal card and, if I remember correctly, to Spain so it is another flat-ish one with an aperture.
Ingredients
White card
Dark purple card (from a craft show, make unknown)
Silver mirror card
SB Snowflake Pendant 2013
Sue Wilson Mini Snowflake Striplet
Trimcraft Me to You embossing folder
Dovecraft sentiment
Memento Dew Drop Grape Jelly ink
Teeny silver bling
A bit of detail and dimension but still post friendly.
I must apologise if I am behind on visiting some of your blogs but I will catch up. I've not been well since Monday. The thyroid appointment was ok (just a normal 3 monthly check) but the new tablets the cardiologist put me on have caused another arrhythmia on top of the A/Fib so I have had to stop them and have felt unwell as my pulse has been high again. In the process of trying to sort it all out with the docs, so please bear with me.
As a little heads up, this is my 398th post (and they hoped said it wouldn't last lol!!!). For my 400th post, I will offer a little Paddle Prize as a thank you. To go into the draw, you just need to be a follower and leave a comment on that particular post (I think it will be next Thursday, 2nd Feb's MAWTT DT post). I will remind you on the next post and on the day.
As always, thank you for your kind and concerned comments. I'm not quite at Uhu's gates so onwards and upwards eh lol!!!

A lovely card Ang and I isn't even notice it was completely flat as the die cuts make it look like there is dimension. I hope you start to feel better quickly and congratulations on nearing you 400 post what a great achievement xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Ang. Hope you feel better quickly. X
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful negative card, love this design.
ReplyDeleteTime flies when you're having fun Ang.
xxxx
As Maria said this card doesn't look flat. In fact the aperture actually looks like you have added the die cut. When did you learn the art of trick photography Mrs D? And they say the camera never lies! - Whoever "they" are! One of these days the Mad Medics( a nickname I was given when I was still working" will get yousorted - hopefully before it's time to draw your pension ... lol! Christine. x
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang,
ReplyDeleteLove the card. What a bummer feeling unwell again. Hope they get you sorted soon.

Good Morning Ang, so sorry to hear that you are not feeling too well again, it's just pants. Thankfully your thyroid is behaving itself.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully designed card, the snowflake triplet is so pretty, hope you have a good day, Kate x
Good morning Ang well it was good news on your thyroid check but I can imagine it's more than a little frustrating to go through the process of getting your tablets right again. Let's hope it won't take too long. A very dramatic card and super design. Love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteAnother very clever and effective card, Ang.
ReplyDeleteAll the best

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteNice to see you today, I was getting a bit concerned when you didn't paddle in yesterday. Sorry the old body is still refusing to do what it's supposed to and think it's about time you were sorted out by someone!!!
Take care, don't get excited and keep out of Flash's way.
love Maureen xx
P.s. forgot about the card!!! It's another "trick of the eye" beauty.
So sorry your meds have left you in worse shape than when you when to the doctor. Take care my friend. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHi Ang, it is always lovely to read your post because you always manage to inject some humour into them, no matter how you are feeling. So sorry that your meds have not had the desired result but hopefully they will get them sorted quickly.
ReplyDeleteYour card is as always beautiful and your family and friends are really lucky to receive them.
Keep smiling Ang and take care of yourself.

Hi Ang,
ReplyDeletewhat a very gorgeous card, and I love your wonderful design.
Love the purple and the mirri card together.
Such very super designing as usual.
Never worry about visiting me as I quite understand that your health must of course come first, and realize that there are times you cannot.
Congratulations on reaching that wonderful amount of posts.
Do you know I have never thought to check mine.
Stay clear of the pond as it's too BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR cold.
Love and big gentle hugs from my house to yours.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are still suffering Ang. Two of my cousins have also got Af so we wonder if it runs in families. One of them struggles in the same way as you while the other two of us are quite stable (physically anyway!) , so we are very lucky! Love this card again, you have been treating us since Christmas! Keep improving! (the AF not the craft!)

Hi Ang
ReplyDeleteReally sorry you've not been well and hope you start to feel better very soon, poor you. I've had a bad few weeks and getting a tad fed up with it all now!
