Good morning blogging chums. Hope you are all well.
Sorry for the gap in posting and visiting your blogs but not having a great few days. Sadly, these days, Mr D is not the only thing that makes my heart flutter lol!
Now, I thought I'd better show Mr D's Valentine card before continuing with my Christmas run.
Ingredients
White, red and black card
Sissix Heart dies
Hobbycraft heart punch
Memory Box Alphabet dies
CE Swirling Hearts embossing folder
White pearls
It is 7.5" x 7.5". I usually do this size for an 8 x 8 envelope as sometimes making the card 8 x 8 is a bit of a squeeze if there's a few layers.
Mr D was very happy, especially with the accompanying pile of chocolate lol!!! I got several bags of Roulette Doritos (my favourite snack) as I've already got flowers on the go.
Talking of Mr D, he has performed his pulling duty again and has pulled a name out of the bowl for the 400th blog post Paddle Prize. And the name he pulled out was . . . . . . .drumroll . . . . . .
Yorks Butterfly !!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Wendy and thank you for your visits and comments. Now, as part of the prize, I will be sending a Spellbinders die and you can choose which one you would like from these two
Please email me, via John at lockers@live.co.uk with your full name and your address so that I can send you your prize. Please also advise which of the above dies you would like as part of the prize. There will be some other treats too.
Thank you to everyone else for your visits, comments and support and apologies that I can't afford to send you all prizes. For now, just blame Mr D for not pulling your name out lol!!!
Keep warm and well.
TTFN

Good morning Ang so sorry to read you have been a bit poorly this week but we have had quite a bit of sun this week so spring is on the way. Very nice card for Mr D and I'm sure he loved his choices. Congratulations to Wendy as well. Love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeletePredictive text!......should be his choccies xx
ReplyDeleteHi Ang, great card for hubby. All I seem to be hearing lately, are people who seem to be struggling with health issues. This time of year doesn't help, with dull damp days. Hopefully spring is just around the corner, and we'll all start feeling better soon. Xx Janice xx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteGreat card and would make a good anniversary card, with the correct sentiment obviously!! Mr D is a lucky man to receive it.
Sorry that you are all a flutter and not feeling tip top. Take care, look after yourself - or better still let Mr D look after you.
love Maureen xx
Arggggg I forgot to congratulate Yorks Butterfly, Wendy, on her win, I've just realised I should have started this with grrrrr ha ha.

WoW Ang, what a lovely surprise to see my name as your pond prize winner, I really didn't expect that, but thank-you so much you are so kind. I love the Grate Works Die please.
ReplyDeleteThank-you to everyone for their good wishes I will certainly enjoy my pond prize
Ang I am so sorry that you are still suffering, it seem such a long time that you have not been your usual self. I think you are very patient, as it seems to be taking the doctors quite a long time to get you back on the road to recovery.
Love the Valentine card you made for Mr D. and I am not surprised that he loved it too.
Look after yourself Ang and don't try and do too much.
Hugs Wendyx
Mr D's Valentine card is brilliant and I bet he was really chuffed to bits! Sorry to read you're having a rough time again, let's hope Spring can turned this around for you.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Ang and well done to your winner, xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely Valentine's card Ang. Sorry you're not too good at present again, I can recommend warm weather as I've had for the last 4 weeks. Currently in Dubai though you can hardly see the top of the Burj Khalif (world's tallest building) for dust in the air today. Shop until you drop ( which I did as I'm jet lagged) in the Dubai Mall. Home tomorrow
ReplyDelete.Save up for next year's visit to my son now.

Love all that reverse did cutting. Looks great on your card. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteHi Ang,
ReplyDeletecongrats to the winner.
I love this wonderful card, and the design is awesome.
Such wonderful deapth to the central hearts, and that embossing is gorgeous not seen that one before.
I bet Mr D was pleased with it.
I thought all the recessed hearts were padded at first glance till I took a closer look.
Love and big hugs from my house to yours.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Beautiful card Great idea for anniversaries and engagement cards too Congrats to Wendy on your win
ReplyDeleteLove the way you use the negative cuts, Ang. They are so effective.
