Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is doing ok?
I'm still struggling at times. Friday was a shocker of a day but fortunately I got a good night sleep and managed to get to the theatre on Saturday with Nesta. We had already changed the tickets from 25th Jan as I wasn't well and I didn't want us to miss out as it was part of Nesta's Christmas pressie from us.
On the upside, I have managed to lose some weight by cutting down my carbs. Mind you, I've decided that I'm not overweight, I am actually under tall. If I can just stretch 6 inches, I'd be my ideal weight .......... how hard can it be???
A warm welcome to Princessnettie and thank you to Marion for pressing the followers button. Lovely to see some old chums and new names commenting too. All appreciated and all welcome.
Now, we're back to Christmas again I'm afraid (I did warn you that I had the EEC Christmas card mountain and a poinsettia fettish) which I made for my dear friend Kate (Cuilliesocks) so I hope she won't mind me showing it.

I've extended the deadline until Saturday 11th February so there's still time.
Jan, hope you are still having a wonderful time in the land of The Long White cloud as I'm sure you'll be back in the land of The All Encompassing Grey Cloud all too soon.
Hope this week treats you all kindly.

This is a beautiful card, but wouldn't it make a stunning Golden Anniversary card too, especially if it was an autumn anniversary. Helen

Stunning Ang, you are still on the negative zone, love it. Glad you managed to get out. Gill was asking about you yesterday when I talked to her. xxx
ReplyDeleteLovely "rich" looking card. Congrats on the weight loss. Glad you were able to get out. Take care and hang in there.
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore this card, it's so beautiful.
Sorry that you are still having such bad days, you are obviously a very difficult person. Oh I mean a difficult person to diagnose and sort out medically!!! lol.
Great news on losing weight, I'm sure we could help you to be stretched, I have a very nice rack out in the garden shed ha ha.
Trouble with me is that I am shrinking, I've lost an inch and a half over the past couple of years, my 13 year old granddaughter thinks she is growing so fast and I don't like to disillusion her!!
Look after yourself, steer clear of Flash, sudden shocks could cause a set back.
love Maureen xxx
What a stunning card, Ang. I love it.
ReplyDeleteAll the best

Love the design you have created, and the wonderful poinsettias and embossing.
So glad you managed to get to your theatre and you had a good time.
I did have laugh about the weight and height thing as I used to say people see me as a 5 foot chubby person when really I am a six foot slim jim. lol.
Well in my mind.lol.
Oh by the way I think you are going to like my card next week for the B challenge.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
