PLEASE NOTE, THIS WORKSHOP IS NOW FULLY BOOKED.
We had tried to book the venue for Sunday 3rd September too but sadly the venue us not available.
We will continue to try and book another date/venue so keep an eye on this blog and John's for further details.
Apologies for disappointing anyone but we will try our best to get an extra date.
Best wishes
Ang x
Good morning folks. As promised, details of the workshop arranged by myself and John are above.
Usually, John's workshops are arranged by retailers but this is the first one he is doing under his own steam (and some hot air from me too lol!!!) so we hope that you can make it.
John will hold 2 workshops, one 10 - 12.30 and the other 1.30 - 4, covering different stamping/die cutting projects.
I will be his Debbie McGee (without the gold sequins) assisting where required and making sure that the hot water is plentiful for teas and coffees.
There will be a buffet lunch from 12.30 - 1.30 so any one wishing to do just the afternoon session should ensure they are there for 12.30 so they don't miss out on the food.
There will also be a pop up shop selling John's products and some other crafty bits and bobs. Payment for items can be made by cash or card on the day.
The venue itself is a lovely little club with parking and disabled access and with lovely views over the canal and countryside. It is also only 2 minutes drive from the junction with the M6, M69 and A46. As the M1 also links with the M69 and M6, at a 10 to 15 minute drive, it is handy for for folk coming from all directions.
Please contact me on lockerscrafts@gmail.com for further details or to make a booking. A deposit will secure your booking.
Hope to see you there.

Damn I'm just missing it! Hope you get loads of takers for it, sounds like it will be a super fun and instructive day. Best of luck Kate x
ReplyDeleteAng. I am the same I will miss it too, plus the Midlands is just that bit to far these days. Now I am sure Kate will agree one up even at the borders would be great. Transport links are good if it's Carlisle or Newcastle area even. That way folk can come from north, south, east and west. Get the thinking cap on girl. Hazel x
ReplyDeleteDo hope I can make it. I've explained already why I can't make a decision yet.
ReplyDeleteHope you're okay.

Hello Ang, I wish I was able to come, but unfortunately the day job takes me away on some weekends and this is one of them. Oh well c'est lavie. Maybe next time. Good luck to you both. Bx
ReplyDeleteP.S. maybe you should include the sequins :-)
Hi Ang, just to say hope you and John have a great day (I'm sure you will) but its just a bit to far for me to travel.
ReplyDeleteWendyx
Wish I was nearer, I would be in the front row cheering you both on, and in the shop spending lots of dough too I expect. Look forward to hearing all about though and hope you can do one nearer to me at some point! Do you like the seaside?
ReplyDeleteOh How I wish I can come. I'm waiting to hear if my friend, who drives, is interested in coming (and that we're not too late to book!)
ReplyDeleteHi Ang
ReplyDeleteI wish I could come only too far for me from Broadstairs Kent Never mind
Hug's Lynda xx
Would love to be there but a bit far from Spain. Would have been nice to meet you and see John again. Anyway good luck will be thinking of you
ReplyDeleteNancy xx
Same as Nancy, love to be there, pity you cant do one when I am. xxx
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI'm gutted as it's just not viable unless I spend the night and it all adds up to less money for crafty goodies. I've explained on John's blog so won't bore you but I hope it's a great success and look forward to seeing you both when you venture into the great unknown, otherwise known as the North!!!

The workshop and luncheon sounds lovely. If I were on that side of the Atlantic ocean, I would certainly be participating. John has a special friend in his corner - YOU! Best wishes and success on John's first venue on his own - with your help. This is certainly a BIG year for John.
ReplyDeleteHi Ang,
ReplyDeleteoh I wish I could attend, but it's too far fro me.
Tone and I don't drive to far thse days, but I do hope it all sucessful, and that you maybe think of doing one a little nearer me if it is.
I would just love to help if I lived nearer as I'm sure you could do with an extra pair of hands for making teas.
Love and big crafty hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.
Hi Ang
ReplyDeleteThank you for the information, I will send email to confirm Mr & Mrs F will be attending, so please do wear the sequins! ;)

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI'm thrilled it's booked! That's great news! I was going to see if it was possible as we have a son who lives not too far away! I could have pestered them for a few days and my husband could have stayed there! Maybe next time !
If you come further north I would try to do that.
Well done!
Love Myra xx
Hi Ang
