Good morning everybody peeps. Hope you are fine and funky.
Thank you for your kind comments on my baubles (steady!!!) I only get them out at Christmas usually.
Now, today, we are back with Team A over at MAWTT and Zoe's theme of choice is.........
Girls Birthday.
Zoe wants to see cards that would be suitable for a girl of 21 or under. I think that gives you all a lot of scope so hopefully you will decide to join in.
Ingredients
6x6 white card blank
Pink card
First Edition Love Letters 6x6 paper
Presscut Rectangle dies
Number die...........free with a magazine
Fuchsia pink satin ribbon
3mm diamante chain (on my website)
Star bling
Not my usual style but this came about from one of those situations I am sure that all crafters are familiar with, the "can you make me a card please?" "Of course, when do you need it for?" "Errrrrrrr, now??????" scenario.
I literally had 15 minutes to do it.
I'm sure that Hallmark don't have these issues lol!!!
Thankfully, it was more of a gift card that had a few signatories for a large communal present which was just as well, as the only thing I had for that age group at short notice was the alphabet paper.
That's me for today but will be back in a couple of days with more of John's samples.
Please pop along to MAWTT to have a look at the other DT inspiration and why not join in the challenge!

ReplyDeleteHi Ang this is a stunning card I just love that paper. I know that scenario only too well. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI really like this a lot as it’s so different! What a good idea! I’d just like to add that the bling Diamante chain on your web is really lovely! I’ve seen them previously when they just look like plastic bubble wrap! Yours are gorgeous and a good size! Not too big!
Hope you enjoying this lovely weather!
Love Myra xx
I think this is just lovely Ang, super design. Scorching up here, hope you're well, Kate x x
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteA really unusual card today and I'd never have thought of using alphabet card in that way. A circle around the initial of the child would make it stand out more - just saying (as my 14 year old granddaughter says to me!)
Hope you are keeping well. I have heard people mention your "baubles" before, but couldn't possibly tell you what they said ha ha.
love Maureen xxx
Hi Ang
ReplyDeleteWhat an excellent card and even more so with your 15 minutes deadline. I love the colour combo
I have no further comment to make regarding your 'baubles' as I'm too busy with my bells, hanging arrangements, kitties and not forgetting wisty!!
Take care

Lovely card Ang, fits perfectly, thank you, xxx
ReplyDeleteHello Ang, I think this card is just fantastic, wish I could produce something like that quickly. Take care all. Bx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, wow what a super duper card, talk about short notice, and yes as you say we all get asked for last minute cards, I had my sister asking for a wedding card, I had 2 hours to get it done, will post on fb later this month after the wedding, she loved it though.
ReplyDeleteWhat I like about this card is the backing papers and the diamante strip, looks amazing.
I am off to a parchment weekend this morning - another thing I like doing.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
You pulled it off and with some one watching over your shoulder no doubt. A five year old might not appreciate any card but her mother would appreciate this one.
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful weekend,
Stephanie K
Hi Ang,
ReplyDeleteA great challenge card.

I'm not sure I could create such a lovely card so quickly. Well done, Ang.
ReplyDeleteAnne (Northampton)
I agree with Anne! Also there are many occasions when returning to a paper background works really well.

Very pretty and would be suitable for lots of age groups Change the colour and it can be a male card too
ReplyDeleteHi Ang great card, don't think I could make a card in 15 minutes if I tried. Hope you are feeling better.
