Good morning everyone. Hope you are all hunkydory.
This is a quickie post today as I am scheduling and typing this at silly o'clock due to a dicky tum which I think is due to a dodgy KFC yesterday lunchtime. . . . . . .I now realise why they call it fast food lol!!!
Now, just when I was still in the throws of showing you the other samples I made for John, another show comes along so the virtual pile is ever growing.
Hope you managed to catch last night's shows. I'm going to catch up with the 8pm one this morning.
I set myself a challenge of creating non-Christmas cards out of the Christmas stamps so that you can get more bang for your buck so this is one that I came up with using the Snowflake set, which can just pass for a pretty pattern.
Needless to say, the new stamp sets and media plates are available on my website.
Ingredients
White, black and teal card
JND Media Dies (Rectangle)
JND Snowflake stamp set
JND Star Stream embossing folder
SB Labels 4 dies
JND Sentiment
Teal Zeal Memento Dew Drop (First and second generation stamping)
Teal bling
Well, better go feed the pussy cats and try to get some sleep.
Hope this gives you some idea of how to get more out of your stamps. Stay tuned for more ideas coming to a blog near you soon.

Ps........Here's a quick snap of the mutant tomato plant that is now standing at 6 feet tall.
There is also a grape vine next to it and some basil in the foreground so I expect the TART members will be trying to munch bruscettas whilst trying to make their own wine lol!!!
Morning Ang, hope you are feeling a little bit better, nothing worse then a dickie tum especially in this heat.
ReplyDeleteAm loving this sample, the stamp creation looks brilliant on here.
I managed to catch some of John's first show last night but like you will be watching the 8pm one this morning on catch up.
Take it easy, oh and the tom's look good.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteClever you and what a good way to disguise Christmas stamps. As for your plants - if you'd like me to come and tread the grapes my feet are very clean, they were washed for Christmas lol. Do you actually have any tomatoes on that plant?
How are our Wisties managing in this heat, I hope you are looking after them as we will be over your way shortly.
Take care of you tum, it's the only one you've got.
love Maureen xxx

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteAnother very clever card. Can Cards be clever? I doubt it but you know what I mean. You have made the snowflakes look like lace . Sorry about your tummy and the KFC!! It’s hayfever that’s causing bother here.
That’s a big tomato plant! Which Christmas Maureen!! ?
Love Myra xx
A great way of using the stamps, Ang. We had our first tomato yesterday but it was grown in the greenhouse.
ReplyDeleteAnne (Northampton)
Absolutely beautiful Ang, love the design, and colours, so clever.
ReplyDeleteExhausted today! Kate xx
That is so clever Beautiful card Very stylish I am not enjoying this heat It creates havoc with my diabetes
ReplyDeleteBut your plants seem to be thriving on it I need som of their energy
Very sharp of you to use these lovely Christmas stamps for other fun projects. We should all try to use more of our stamps year round. I think your card is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe mutant tomatoes are growing quickly...England has good soil for gardening I assume seeing all the beautiful gradens. We have hard red clay here which is like planting in a brick walk (and bugs that eat what manages to grow). Can't wait to see these special tomatoes.
