Good morning mon petit champignons. Hope all is well in your worlds.
Thank goodness its warmed up a bit. Mr D's finger has been hovering over the central heating "on" button but I have managed to distract him with cake so far.
The Girls are coming in earlier at night now too and snuggling up on their fleecy bed.
Really don't like the thought of the cold days to come as, due to the heart thingy, I get a touch of Raynauds which can be painful..............imagine if Flash suffered from white extremities (well, whiter than usual), it may put him off exposing them.
Sadly Maureen, the only large doubles I can have of an evening are hot lemons. I never was a big drinker, maybe a sex on the beach on my birthday, but not allowed now........or the cocktail lol!!!
I think I was born to live somewhere far more tropical.
Anyhoo, another Christmas sample for John today.
Quick and easy but I like it.
Ingredients
Cream, black and gold shimmer card
Gold and black mirror card
JND Snowflakes die
JND Festive Greetings
Crafts Too Merry Christmas embossing folder
Circle dies
Pearlage
I love embossing folders but they sadly seem to have fallen out of favour but they can bring such lovely texture to a card.
Maria, hope that you have a lovely break and happy anniversary.
June, I totally agree about John's new packaging. I had asked him if he could get rid of the bulky plastic as it would help with my postage costs for the website lol!!! Also, there's many a time I have actually cut my hand on the plastic stuff. Good luck with the wedding bits.
Barbara, I'm very impressed that you have made all of your Christmas cards already. Mind you, as John kindly returns my samples to me, I have got quite a head start myself lol!!! I'm equally impressed with Stephanie's friend.
Myra, don't worry chuck, you can use Maureen's inflated bloomers as a buoyancy aid.
That's me for now as have a busy day ahead today.
Hope that this week is kind to you all.

Morning Ang, this card is just gorgeous, love everything about it, and it may just jump start my Christmas card making. Take care. Have a good day all. Bx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, oh I like this sample, yes quick and easy, might have to fish out the ingredients (AKA dies and card stock) and have a go at some of these.
ReplyDeleteWe have also noticed a little nip in the air but I don't want the heating on yet, I said put your dressing gown on if your cold, ha ha, and he did......got him well trained.
Well I am pleased to say that all of the wedding favor's are done with just a little something to be put in at the last minute. Table planner sorted, and other goodies to go on the tables are prepared just need to be printed and we are nearly there. It has been a task but well worth it. I will show some pictures when finished.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Beautiful classy card Ang, gorgeous, xxx
ReplyDeleteWe are starting to cool slightly here, had a bit of rain over the weekend. Xxx
Ohh I do like this card Ang. I may have a go at replicating it if you don't mind. I love embossing folders they give such texture to a card.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to Ally Pally at the weekend I haven't been for a year. Not that I really need anything ..lol. xxx
Morning Ang,
ReplyDeleteLovely card, like the clean lines.

ReplyDeleteHi Mrs D, Absolutely love this card, so elegant and classy, just beautiful.Hope winter doesn't affect you to badly, maybe use the girls as hand muffs !!!Stay healthy Lots of Love Barbara D xx
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteThe card today is clean and simple - just like me. I have to admit to only the simple part as I have been known to slurp coffee down my front occasionally!!
I was born to be a rich man's wife, hah if only. George only married me because he said I was cheap!!! One Britvic (other makes are available) pineapple juice lasted me all night whereas girl friends of his brothers drank spirits.
Myra isn't teasing you about swimming, we both have the buoyancy of bricks lol.
Keep warm, my daughter suffers badly from Raynauds, even in the summer, and it's no fun.
love Maureen xx
Beautifully designed Ang, Kate xx
ReplyDeleteHi Ang this is a stunning Christmas card I just love it. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteNow this is a card I can get into. I love the circles cut out of an embossing folder with snowflakes peeking out. Nice card to make in volume too.
ReplyDeleteI like warm weather myself personally. I am a summer person. Hurricane season is a bit daunting though. Fingers crossed for our coast. My sister and BIL live on an island and may be up for a visit. This will make the third year in a row. We are hoping the path changes so our poor islands won't get hit again.
Everyone take care and enjoy your week,

Lovely card Ang,
ReplyDeleteI love hearing about your exploits too! You always make me smile. Thanks for helping Mr L to get rid of the plastic packaging as it's all good for our environment isn't it? I finally had my knee operation (after the injury last November)
So I'll soon be dancing on the table (not my craft one lol) xx
Lovely card Ang
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an idea for a batch card. Not in Christmas mode yet. However maybe now watering the garden isn’t so time consuming.

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card and I hadn’t thought about the advantageous side- effect of making Christmas Cards for John! You will be ahead! Oh if only I was! Thanks for the buoyancy aid tip!! Lol! You and a few others would be able to join me!
