Good morning guys and gals. Hope that this find you all well.
Its been a busy old time here at The Pond with feet and samples and tidying up the garden, ready for Winter.
I was asked to do some more samples for Papercraft Essentials for issue 192 which, I believe, should be in the shops now. I also have made samples for them for issue 194 due out in December.
Health has been getting there and I've been given the green light by my cardiologist to jump back on my exercise bike so I am taking it steady on it.
Today, its time for another challenge at MAWTT and the theme this month is Christmas Flowers.
I always think of poinsettias as The Christmas flower so that's what I ran with.
I made this gift bag as an entry to a magazine competition last year sometime but never heard anything back from them. I know that they received it as I sent them registered post. Never mind, I liked it 😍.
Its a large bag so the sheets of card are A4.
Ingredients
Large white Hobbycraft gift bag
Deep red card
White card
Green card
Gold mirror card
SB Poinsettia dies
Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish die
Large oval nesting dies
CE Snowflake embossing folder
Crafts Too Snowflake Border embossing folder
Kaisercraft sentiment stamp
Gems
I may make another this year but the way things are going, I'm not sure that there will be any physical exchanging of gifts .............. more likely to be delivered by Amazon!!!
Well, I hope that you can pop over to MAWTT and get some inspiration from us all in the design team.
Hope to be back soon but meantime, take care and keep yourselves safe and well.

Hi Ang I just love how you have decorated this gift bag. It is gorgeous. I am glad that you are feeling much better. How exciting to be asked to make things for a magazine. We have arranged with lots of people not to exchange presents. I just can't face sorting it all out. Take care and stay safe. Hugs Jackie

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely gift bag Ang. As you have said it may well have to stay in the cupboard for another year the way things are at present. I may not get out again this week but if I do I'll have a look for your magazine entry. Glad you are on the mend - just don't go overdoing things!! Love from Jackie xx
