MAWTT July Challenge . . . . . . . . .

Good morning all you lovely blogging folk. Only a couple of days gap since my last offering as its time for another challenge for Team A over at MAWTT.

Now, my card was a commission, if you will, from my pal Davey (he who is the Phileas Fogg of Coventry). He, himself, celebrated his 70th last month (I've yet to feature his card) and he asked me if I would make a card for his lovely sister in law, who was also approaching 70. I was happy to oblige, as I was fast becoming an expert on making 70th birthday cards by that point lol!!!

The colour choice was David's but you all know I love a bit of purple action.

The card was enjoyed by it's recipient so all's good.

Ended up back in hospital Tuesday night.........I'm thinking of getting a season ticket! 

I'm still keeping everything crossed for Sunday and getting to Silverstone. Much to Jenson Buttons relief, I probably won't have the energy to throw my underwear (clean, before you ask) at him lol!!!

A-Tissue!!!............Bless You!

Good morning guys and gals. Hope everyone is warm and well.

We had snow the other evening, which did settle but had gone by midway through the following morning. Hopefully, that's our moment of Winter over.

Welcome to Teejay. Thank you so much for joining our merry band.

A quicky today as its 11.30pm as I'm typing this, ready to schedule for the morning. A couple of non working days so watching John, catching up with some friends, bidding Nesta bon voyage and a grocery shop in store for me.

Hazel, if only I could slip into Nesta's case but that would take the term "excess baggage" to a whole new degree lol!!! We'll weep and wave but once that first Pina Colada is down her neck, it'll be "Ang who???" 

Now, talking of Nesta, finally, I remember to show you the tissue box cover I made for her a few weeks ago when she was germ ridden. I had a box of B&M tissues (so that maybe the only brand she can refill with now) and this slots over the top.

Not too fancy but it matches her bedding as she has a set featuring lilac hydrangeas so I've tried to make it look hydrangea-ish.

I'm hoping to pick up a set of the orange blossom leaves stamps to match the dies this week. After seeing John demo them last week, I decided they are a "need" not a "want"

Well, that's me yawning and the hot chocolate is cooling so I will bid you adieu for now.

Moving Along With the Times Challenge. . . . . . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well and no more falls or bumps and bruises.

My forearm is still sore but the ibruprofen is keeping things manageable (just, lol!!!) for work. Sorry this has meant I am slow around the blogs but I have had lots of DT commenting to do as well, which is not good when typing one handed lol!

Will make sure I get round to everyone today after I get home from work.

Now, today we have another challenge at MAWTT and the theme as chosen by our very own Wendy (alias the Panda) is Pink/lilac and or butterflies. Hope you can pop over to see what the rest of my design team colleagues have done and to enter yourself, perhaps. 

This is my interpretation. The iddybiddy butterflies are the waste from cutting the largest of the SB Butterfly Circles (a few times, thankfully before my arm problem lol!!!). Each butterfly was scored down the middle and glued into the recess of my square frame.

Ah well, 48 butterflies later and that was that. hope you like.

Would be lovely to see some of you enter the challenge. . . . . . who doesn't love a butterfly (or 48? Hahaha!!!)

As some of you may know, Wendy is on a mission to use all of her dies. I decided to have a count of mine and had to sit down with some smelling salts. I currently have 87 sets! I dared not count the actual number of dies as some sets have 10 dies.

I'm guessing there are some you with even more (Patricia, step forward lol! We won't tell John) but I hadn't a clue I had that many. If anyone had asked, I would have guessed at 50.

Must start using different ones ti get my pennies worth.

Before I forget, Lesley the 8x8 box frames are £2.99 in store but they are not available on the website. . . . . . . Sorry chuck.
