Good morning everyone. Hope that you are all well.

Had a fabulous day at the workshop with John on Sunday. Lovely ladies as always and a great change of venue to the Premier Inn, who really looked after us.

I didn't think that I had been overdoing things, apart from humping the odd box but I did suffer Sunday night and yesterday. Wasn't helped by being tired as Mr D was doing his snoring pig chorus impression on Saturday night. I would have normally hoofed him next door (spare room not the neighbours..........although, thinking about it..........) but all the workshop stuff was boxed and on the spare bed.

Sorry to hear about Maureen's incapacity. Will be tricky steering the bloomers with a hand injury (paper cuts can be very painful) unless Yorkie B and June are going to step into the breech......talking of which, I need to know who I am aiming the canon at. 

Karen, they do say "sharp scratch" in our neck of the woods too but I'm not quite sure why they bother saying anything. Just stick it in and get it over with (that's probably another phrase that's gotten some gals into trouble too).

Anyhoo, back to the card. Its another Christmas 2016 card that was lurking in my annals (hope I've spelt that right otherwise it could take on an entirely different meaning lol!!!).

A quickish but interesting card imho. The aperture is cut out of the white card before running it through the embossing folder.

Well, as I am scheduling this on Monday evening, I shall finish my hot lemon and then away to my bed and hope I can sleep tonight without strangling someone..........what is the criteria for diminished responsibilty???

Festive in Purple . . . . . . .

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all bright eyed and bushy tailed. As of typing, still appear to be in rhythm and fluid situation is easing. Still getting the odd rogue beat but otherwise ok.

Thank you for your comments on the last card. It was a bit different for me but once I got teddy bears in my head, I had to run with it.

Littlelamb. I don't mind you commenting at all. Thank you very much for taking the time. So polite so I'm not quite sure why you've been hanging around with Maureen lol!!!

Talking of whom, I'm not sure sticky pads will do. so I've sent a hoist.

Jackie and Kate, hope you had refreshing breaks. Welcome back.

Suzzie, Darnell and Karen I promise to keep on top of the situation and I am good about salt anyway. I don't add it to anything,  except a juicy sirloin steak. Sorry, that has to have a twist of Maldon on each side lol!!!

Now, this is another little deep purple Christmas number, teamed with some silver mirror card. . . . . they do go well together, methinks, although the photo above doesn't look very purple. Trust me, it really is lol!!!

Still quite a flat card, although I think this one went to our next door neighbours.

Well, Flash has competition. An older neighbour 5 doors down from us has decided to do a bit of cycling.

Now, he is a rather portly fellow (in his 60s, about 5ft 9 and I'd guess around 20 stone) and I commend him for embarking on a fitness regime but Lycra is very unforgiving!!!

There was a fluorescent yellow skin tight Lycra top (safety first eh? Not that you could miss him in broad daylight) and shockingly tight Lycra leggings. . . . . . . even Linford Christie would have given these a swerve. Mind you, did remind me that we've got some walnuts lurking in the cupboard left over from Christmas.

I can only hope that he found a comfortable saddle position as he wobbled up the road, waved off by his wife.

Will have to think of a name for him if he is going to continue.

Apologies to those who are not wanting to see anything Christmassy in February (or into March for that matter lol!!!)

My clinic appointment got moved to Thursday from Friday. One of the Arrhythmia nurses rang me on Wednesday and asked if I wanted to go in a day early as they knew I had been struggling, so I did.

I had puffed up during the past week like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Boy (for any 80's chicks like me who loved Ghostbusters) so they have put me on water tablets. My goodness, within 2 hours of taking them, I had gone to the loo 8 times!!! Its times like this, you wish you had downstairs facilities.

Mr D joked that it would keep me fit going up and down stairs (not great when you're prone to breathlessness) or I could use a bucket!!! I then said thank goodness I hadn't been put on laxatives!!!

Heat rate tablets have been upped too as pulse rate still high and they think that's what has caused fluid retention and breathlessness and another 3 pot blood test. Never a dull moment with me eh??? Back again next week so they can check my progress.

Anyhoo, enough of my toilet issues but on that note, I need to go again so . . . . . .
