Good morning everyone. How are you all today?
It was very remiss of me not to welcome Jan back from her trip to New Zealand. Must be a wrench having to leave the family but hope you had a lovely time.
Now, today its time for another challenge at MAWTT and Terri has chosen the theme for this one, which is . . . . . . . . . . .
Rainbow or rainbow colours
So, that should give you lots of scope so it would be lovely if you popped over to the challenge and had a go.
Ingredients
White card
Coloured card
Crafters Companion Textures Elements Rain embossing folder
SB Classic Ovals small and large (to cut the layers of the rainbow)
Memory Box Alphabet dies
Quite CAS for me but a cheery little number, I thought.
I have lost 5 kg since I started the water tablets last Friday so just shows how much fluid I was holding onto. Still some swelling lurking so goodness knows how much extra I'll lose by the time its gone.
Mind you, I've worn out a path on the stair carpet with all the extra trips up and down the stairs lol!!!
Back at the clinic today for them to check my progress and also a check up in anticipation of another Cardioversion in the next few weeks.
For those off to the SECC in the next couple of days, including my buddy Kate (cuilliesocks), have a fab time and go and say "hello" to Mr Lockwood who will be on Art of Craft's stand on Saturday and Sunday.
Thanks for visiting and don't forget to pop over to MAWTT to see what the other girls have come up with.

P.S . . . . . I managed to take a trip to B&M yesterday in search of lightbulbs (that's as exciting as it gets at the minute lol!!!) and they had these gorgeous pads in. Now I know I really don't need another pad but at £2.99 for a 12x12, 24 double sided sheets of 250gsm with lovely patterns . . . . . resistance was futile. I got mine in blue for £2.50 as the front cover was torn but they do a pink pad and a beige pad too.
Hi Ang, love your card, it is so bright and cheerful. I better not go near B&M as I really do not need more paper, in fact am trying to do a clear out at the moment. Glad to hear the meds are helping, hope you keep getting better. Take care. Bx
ReplyDeleteVibrant rainbow colours Ang..xx[aNNie]

Morning Any, really like the simplicity of this card, sometimes less is more as I think this shows.
ReplyDeleteHope that your your new tablets are really starting to help, and your new exercise regime is having some positive results, but I think you could have chosen something a little less stressful than running up and down stairs stairs (LOL)
Take care Any.

A lovely bright card to light up this well morning (though it looks like the sun is trying to reach through). Wonderful bargain too. Our B&M certainly didn't have those in yesterday or like you need may have been pushed aside in favour of want lol.
ReplyDeleteClever use of your dies to make the rainbow Mrs D. I hope you are taking care of yourself. Christine x
ReplyDeleteFab card Ang thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove that paper pad and who cant resist a bargain like that, xxx
Nice cheery card Ang. But now I will have to go into town tomorrow and check out B&M!! Love from Jackie xx
ReplyDeleteWow! That seems to me to be a lot of water -- but glad you are getting rid of it! Best wishes for you check up today. I have no idea what a Cardioversion is.
ReplyDeleteYour rainbow card is so beautiful - I do love bright, clean and clear color. Also, I don't blame you for buying that paper pad - the paper is lovely.

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteGreat news that you are getting rid of all that fluid, it should make things easier for you and you'll feel much better. The pressure will be eased. Not that I'm of a medical disposition but I'm starting to waffle so I'll stop!!!
Your card is brilliant. I like the embossing folder which gives the impression of rain behind the rainbow.
Now do I have time to pay BM a visit tomorrow? I think the answer to that is yes ha ha.
Take care, keep on taking the tablets, and just think what great thighs you'll have with all the going up and down the stairs.
Maureen xx
