Good morning blogging chums. Hope that all is hunkydory with you.
Its Day 3 of the John Next Door Fest and as the weather has bounced between Sun and persisting down, what better than a rainbow to brighten proceedings.
Now, this one did get a moment in the spotlight but I did wonder if the raindrop mask was a step too far..........is it too much?

8 x 8 white card blank (Anna-Marie Designs)
White card
Multi colours of Lidl card
John Next Door Flower Circle stamp set (sentiment)
John Next Door Quattro Drops mask

Presscut Circle dies

I may be back tomorrow with part 4. It depends on if the new laptop has decided to stop updating Windows today.
6 bloomin hours it was doing it yesterday. My head was throbbing with setting things up on there for another update to start installing and re-setting what I had done........arrrrrgh!!!
On the upside, did manage to set it up as a local user rather than giving Microsoft carte blanche to snoop.
Will gradually start shifting documents etc over and all my photos (about 5GB just photos lol!!!)
That's me for today.........maybe see you again tomorrow if I haven't been carted off in a straight jacket!!!

A lovely card Ang. Good luck with the laptop luckily my son in law to be works in IT so he sorted all mine out for me, I really don't have a clue about them lol xxx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, I love this card, and I think the raindrop stencilling fits perfectly with the rainbow and the sentiment, which has become my new favourite sentiment. Good luck with the laptop, believe it or not I work in the IT industry and still struggle with some things. Have a great day all. Bx

All the raindrops echo Northampton's weather over the last 24 hours but at least there is promise in the rainbow! Sun out now.

Sounds as if you are having fun with the computer, Ang! This card is great. The sun is still shining here - that's an hour longer than we've had in the last two days!

Hi Ang what a bright cheerful card to start the day, although have to say at the moment we have brilliant sunshine, about as rare as hens teeth.

ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteGreat card and use of dies. The raindrop stencil is perfect as the ink is pale and not in your face.
Happy computer update day. Oh, what fun you have sometimes ha ha.

Hi Mrs D, Love this card and that sentiment is just sooo good.I must get it and I think the raindrops just finish it off. Hope the lappy behaves and stops updates before you use it as a frisbee !Stay healthy Love Barbara D xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice sentiment and love the rainbow!
ReplyDeleteSorry everyone seems to have the rain and has to get the wellies out in August but it looks like another hot day here on Lake Huron, Canada. Yesterday was 29 degrees.
I LOVE IT! I love everything about it

Gorgeous card, love the vibrant rainbow and the stenciled raindrops. Did you see the photographs of the pink rainbow the other day? Think it was in the Bristol area (no sniggering) but I could be wrong about that. Apparently it was caused by there being a rainbow at sunset. Very prett, just like your card. *exits stage left before any holes appear....*
ReplyDeleteHi Ang,
ReplyDeletehaven't looked at my recordings yet so I didn't see this one.
It's such a super card and I love the way you have done the rainbow with the circle dies.
The raindrops look brilliant as does the enbossing too.
Sorry forgot to say about the updates why you can't buy a computer with the updates already installed in this day and age.
Still I suppose it's because they maybe sitting on the sales shelf for quite sometime before they are bought.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
How fun to see you playing in my JUGS, Ang! I beg your pardon! That was very kind of you and I love this rainbow card! I've always loved that sediment and you've achieved a lot of interest (not too much) with the added raindrops and that e/f! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove your rainbow and you can't have one without raindrops, so definitely not too much! Thanks for playing with Just Us Girls!
ReplyDeleteLovely rainbow card Ang, love the embossing and rain.
ReplyDeleteA few garden pics may be taken didn't even think of it.xx

Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI have been away for a few days hence the delay! I love your card - great idea to use the circle Dies in this way. The paper/ card colours are just right too! I'm concerned that the strait - jacketing may have happened!! You didn't come back " tomorrow!"
Seriously though , I hope you aren't unwell.
Love Myra xx
