Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well.
I know I have been missing again but have had two exams and a dodgy tooth again.
Slap my wrist for thinking I could get away with leaving the tooth alone but my goodness, it reared its head in a glorious fashion. Last Friday night, I didn't bother trying to sleep as I was in so much pain so I had done a load of washing and got in hung out by 6am.
On antibiotics again and I promise I will keep the appointment next month to have the flamin thing out (Don't tell me off June, pretty please 😟).
Now, onto today's card. Its time for the 100th challenge over at MAWTT and the theme has been chosen by Wendywoo.........................CAS.
I found a CAS card in my annals (steady now, that's annals!!!) that was a birthday card I had made for a male in a steely grey card.
Ingredients
Cream, black and steel grey card
5cm alphabet dies
CE Rope Chain embossing folder
CE Linen embossing folder (on the letters)
Hope that you can pop over to MAWTT and see what the rest of the DT have created and why not enter the challenge yourselves.
Off to my weekly workshop this morning to create buddleias with the ladies.
Can't believe tomorrow is the longest day already. Another year shooting by!!!
Have a great day.

Nice style for male card.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your tooth but hope you get it sorted out. Had my carpal tunnel decompression done yesterday so no crafting, lace for a few days. Enforced rest which my friends say won’t do me any harm!

A really beautiful CAS card or only does it make a fabulous male card but a handy one to have in your stash that can easily have a few flower embellishments if required
ReplyDeleteTake care re tooth I hope the pain is easing off now
Morning Ang
ReplyDeleteLove your CAS card and the steely grey cardstock
Try Sensodyne toothpaste, it's blinkin marvellouw!! I've been using it for about 3 months now and no pain, win win. I can't have this beast of a tooth filled until I finish the course of TB meds and that's not until September/October!.... Don't have the tooth out, you'll need it when you hit 95 ;) lol

ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteBet you thought I'd emigrated or was lying in a straight jacket in some home or other. Sorry to add more misery as just when you thought things couldn't get worse - oops up I pop again!!! I've just been far to busy to bother coming on here (only kidding) but you know how life sometimes gets in the way of enjoying yourself by making someone else more miserable ha ha.
I do hope you get that tooth seen to - you know you should. Just as I should go for another check up, but I'm chicken like you.
Enjoy your buddleia making, mine isn't in flower yet.
Now as today's card - perfect for the male version of the race and I can understand why it was in your annals ha ha.
Take care, I've missed you but I'll aim better next time!!!!
love Maureen xxx

A very effective card and I can see making it in different colors for a female version. Everyone needs a big Happy. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear the toothache is back. They can be brutal. Hope you get it tended to soon.

Morning Ang, sorry I am a bit late in commenting and I promise not to tell you off as long as you do as your told ha ha, it will be worth it in the end.....Saying that I have a check up in July and am getting jittery about it already.
ReplyDeleteAs to your beautiful sample it is really lovely, perfect for a male or even a female if in a different colour scheme, and the different embossing folders you have used, as I said perfect.
Hope you got your buddleias sorted.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteI’m sorry I’ve been missing but I’ve been away , no not with the fairies, just visiting my family. I drove down the M6 for the first time on my own. It was very wet! I did it though! I hasten to add I often drove just always had company!
Your card is lovely. A great simple card for anyone really but maybe men in that colourway.
Please look after yourself! I know you have a lot on your plate one way and another.
Lots of love Myra xxx
