Good morning everyone. Hope that you are well.
Well, its been a bit of a rough week all in all. Had the cardioversion last Weds, which wasn't as straightforward as it could have been, but ended up back in normal sinus rhythm and sent home.
From Weds night, I had breathing issues and after leaving it a few days, as advised (they thought it was an after effect of the procedure) I ended up having to go back to hospital yesterday. Following an x-ray and tests, turns out, I actually have a chest infection so, I'm now on a high dose of antibiotics, Heaven knows where I could have picked it up from as nowadays, just about the only time I don't wear a bloomin mask is in bed, and no, I having been kissing any strange fellas............Well, not recently anyway. Never a dull moment at the pond eh?
Many thanks for your good wishes and cards. Hopefully, I can shift this so I can actually feel the benefit of having had the procedure and get back to some normality again.
Anyhoo, I must apologise to my team mates at MAWTT as I'm a day late with my card for the latest challenge, which has been chosen by Tinz and is.........................
This is a card I made as a sample for John quite a while ago but I hadn't got round to showing it. They were Christmas stamps but, me being me, decided to use them for another occasion instead lol!!! The sheep and lamb reminded me of Easter so I ran with that and silhouetted the scene against a dramatic inky sky.
Ingredients
Cream, black and yellow card
JND Whilst Shepherds Watched stamp set
JND Winter Trees stamp set
Distress Inks
Black Archival ink
Black marker pen
Black fineliner
I really loved the way this turned out as I'm not usually an inky kinda gal.
Hope that you can pop over to MAWTT and join in with any scene cards you have.
Fingers crossed, things will settle and I'll be back soon. Meantime, stay safe and be good.
TTFN
