Good morning everyone. Hope that you are all well?
Well, you know how things are never straightforward with me? After a week of anitbiotics, my chest started to feel better, happy days, or so I thought.
I then popped a blood vessel in my calf, bloomin scary, painful and not great when I take anticoagulents. Two weeks later, from the back of my knee to my ankle, its still a lovely mix of colours from shades of blue to purple to yellow but at least no longer painful.
I'm hoping that is the 3 things now...........enough to be going on with.
The one bit of humour in the whole episode was when I rang 111 for their advice I was asked if I was the patient so I answered "yes". I was then asked if the patient was still breathing 😕😕😕. I'm guessing that those questions were asked in the wrong order?
The lady the proceeded to ask other questions, one of which was "Have you had any pins and needles around your back passage?" WHATTTTTTTT? I said "I did say it was a problem with my calf, which is my leg!!!" 😲😲😲
Anyhoo, back to the matter in hand. Its time for another challenge over at MAWTT and this month's theme is................................
I had made this card as a sample for one of John's shows and thought it was just the job!
Ingredients
Cream linen card
Black card
First Edition Christmas Wishes paper
JND Sam's Circles die
Its what I call an inverted eclipse card as the patterned section is layered up and raised rather than the cut out bits. A simple but effective card, I think.
Hope that you can join in the challenge and show us your lovely creations over at MAWTT.
Until next time, be good and stay safe.

Lovely card Ang. I hope all your problems are over now and you don’t have anymore. I think these people just read from a script. Obviously don’t listen to what you are saying. Take care and stay safe.x
ReplyDeleteThank you for this uplifting post!! I'm sorry you're having more problems, I blame the initial lockdown (for everything!). I had just finished a phone call from WI because I need to have my tablets collected..... after all the rigmarole one has to go through my BP must have been very high. Then I read your post... sooo pleased it's not just me. lol
ReplyDeleteLove the colours of your card.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card. Hope your health issues continue to improve.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Ang, hope things start improving soon for you. The questions they ask on 111, are actually quite annoying, but it is because they read it from a cue card. Love this card, very unusual. Take care and stay safe everyone. Bx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, hope you are feeling better now. The question about pins and needles is to screen for Cauda Equina, a medical emergency resulting from compression of the nerves at the base of the spine. If not treated it can lead to paralysIs. One of the symptoms can be leg pain, so that’s why they asked. I did laugh at the breathing bit though! Reminds me of contacting the emergency dental helpline at Christmas when I had a tooth abscess. I explained all the symptoms etc so had been chatting away for a few minutes and they were arranging an emergency appointment for me. At that point they asked, can you speak and understand English!
ReplyDeleteOops, meant to add, I love how the texture of the card shows through the Stamping!
