Good morning everyone. Hope all is good with you. Barbara, I hope that you are feeling better now.
Its been an interesting week at The Pond. I went to the NEC last Thursday and met up with a few crafty chums.
Didn't spend too much but it was quiet......good for shoppers, as you don't end up manhandling folk or getting your shins bashed by a trolley but probably not great for stallholders.
I have bought some more wool too. I will put a pic of the blanket I crocheted for The Girls, when I can get them off it. Next project is a top for me.
I have also had a bit of a niggley tooth. I had been dosing up on paracetamol in the hope of limping it through to the check up I had already booked for next week.
But, twas not to be. I finally had to concede defeat and got an appointment on Weds but with another dentist at the practise as mine was off.
the x-ray machine wouldn't work properly (a problem all day, not just me lol!!!) so she guessed, from the symptoms, that it must be an infection and has put me on antibiotics......deep joy, 3 more tablets to take every day along with 8 paracetamol as the pain is still there. Fortunately, I can't take Ibruprofen or I would be necking the as well.
Now, back to the matter in hand. An oldie from last Summer. This was a sample on John's cracker show. I was left with a pile of waste from making a cracker and thought there must be something that I can do with this...............so, you know me and flowers lol!!!

Sorry its been hiding in my annals this long but making so many samples, there are a lot to go through.
Looking forward to the weekend as Sunday brings a Coventry workshop with John, our first of the year so should be good fun and great company and a jolly good carvery too.
Talking of food, here is last night's dinner......Moth Bean Dal (yes, that is Moth!!!) with homemade mooli and lime pickles.
I'm sure that the name will illicit a comment or two but it was very tasty. Yes Kate, you know me too well, I like my food like my men, hot and strong lol!!!
Jenny, I too have Indian blood. My Mum's dad was from India and my Grandma was from Malaysia, which is where my Mum was born, Consequently, I have had to add chillies to everything from a very young age..........even a cheese sandwich has to have a chopped green chilli on it.
Littlelamb, this is a veggie meal so you'd be safe this time.
On that note, I shall leave you good folk to enjoy your Friday and your weekend.
Be good.
