Good morning folks. Hope that you are all well.
Lovely weather in this neck of the woods my M&S finest have been flapping in the breeze again.
The tooth situation is not great. The antibiotics caused a dicky tum and now, they have affected the hearing my right ear. And now, the dentist thinks it needs to come out 😞. Looks like a diet of porridge and soup to come.
Had a lovely workshop with John on Sunday. As always, the ladies were good fun and enjoyed making their tissue boxes.
I have my next one at Staunton Harold next week and am really looking forward to it.
Now, today its time for another challenge at MAWTT and this weeks theme is.............
For a Man
I had made a card last Summer for a friend to give another friend and thought it was perfect for the challenge.
Ingredients
White and navy card
All Aboard paper by Papermania
Alphabet dies
Sometimes the simpler cards can be quite effective and I do love an eclipse.
Hope that you can pop over to MAWTT and enter the challenge.
I will be posting my latest show samples for John in a couple of days. Needless to say, the dies are available on my website.
Meantime, be good.

Morning Ang, so sorry to hear that you are having issues caused by a tooth. Hope it gets resolved soon. Love this eclipse card, really great design for a man. Take care all. Bx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, beautiful sample, as you say ideal for a man card.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the tooth having to come out and all the the other issues that have resulted through it, I don't know our teeth are a pain coming, a pain whilst we have them and a pain coming out. Hope you feel better soon.
I had to go to the dentist on Tuesday, about 3 months ago I had a broken tooth out, he said there may be a little bit of shell in there which will work its way out, well it didn't so I went back to see him, 5 injections later and a great deal of tugging and eventual drilling the other half of the tooth came out, he said it had a double root, but oh my goodness did it hurt, yes it did, but I do feel a bit better today.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Ingenious card. Sorry you’ve had a bad spell again. Glad workshop was fun. I hope John will do one on his latest release - they’re great. Look forward to your samples.

ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about your trials and tribulations on the tooth front and hope it gets painlessly sorted soon. Love today's card and I like the paper for a man's card. A tip I shall borrow!!
Had a super day yesterday, met a little ducky follower called Myra - Newcastle will take a while to recover but I think it may take Myra longer ha ha.

Hi Ang
ReplyDeletesorry to hear you are still in the wars as am I. Decided to slip off the step into the back garden last Friday and ended up on my back half in and half out of the door with my leg underneath me and my ankle at a funny angle. Fortunately nothing broken but a week on and I still can't walk very well and am in a lot of pain. Hey ho. With that I have been watching a lot of TV!! and enjoyed seeing John's new dies and all your wonderful samples you made. Back to this card and what brilliant paper you have used. Absolutely ideal for your card. Take care now and make sure your undies stay pegged on tight!! Love from Jackie xx
Great card Ang An eclipse card is so versatile and easy to do
ReplyDeleteI saw some of John’s shows and your samples (and the other ladies too) were amazing So really looking forward to seeythem blogged
Happy Mother's Day to all of you. We have our Mother's Day in May in the states.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea for a male card or I thought an older child (male also). They like to see their name in "lights".
Ang, your samples for John's shows were amazing and caused me to dig into my purse to order some dies. They will be fun even though I don't have your imagination or talent.
I certainly hope the dental issue gets resolved quickly. I am so sorry you have had not only the toothache but issues with the meds to make the toothache bearable.
I hope everyone is feeling better and can enjoy a beautiful Mother's Day Sunday,
Stephanie K
