Good morning folks. Hope this finds you all well.
Busy week last week with birthdays a funeral and a lunch with friends, followed by my 3rd workshop at Crafty Corner...............had a fab day, so thanks to Annette and the ladies, your creations were fabulous.
It's craft fair season again and my first this year is on Saturday. Thankfully, its only a couple of hours so will break me in for the all dayers to come.
Back to one of John's recent samples using the new Foston Fold Die.
Now, you just knew I would have to sneak in an eclipse card, this time using the pattern die rather than letters.
Ingredients
Ivory and rose card
JND Foston Fold dies
JND sentiment
FE Mulberry Kisses 8x8 paper
Pearlage
Thank you all for your kind comments on my light box. Hopefully, I will get it back from John and I will use it. Myra, please feel free to give it a bash. Glad to hear that you survived a few hours with Mrs Killen. You are a trooper. Care in the Community at its best dear ladyπππ.
Jan, hope that Matt and family had a safe trip over and that you have an amazing time with them. As you can see, the lilac wisty is growing at a pace
............The Girls are on patrol for anyone thinking of trying any wisty raids. Looking forward to Anne's reveal.
The tooth has settled down now, thankfully. I am going to see how it goes over the next couple of weeks before I make a definite decision about it. I have had a couple of infections over the years (last time about 12 years ago) in another tooth, taken the antibiotics and the tooth is still going strong, despite the dentist wanting to pull it.
That's why I'm reluctant to just have it whipped out without giving it a chance.
Well, that's me for now. Hope that you all have a wonderful and peaceful week.

Morning Ang, your card is awesome, love the idea of using the pattern die like that. And well looking at that Wisteria, I think you may need to step up the patrols. Glad the tooth is better. Have a good day everyone and take care. Bx
ReplyDeleteMorning Ang, such a beautiful sample, and what a great idea to do the eclipse with it, yes I have got to try that one. So pleased that the tooth is holding up, keep them as long as you can. Good luck with the craft stall, I bet you get a good response for your goodies.
ReplyDeleteThe Wisti is really coming along now, so beautiful.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xx
Lovely design. So pleased your workshop went well - samples were lovely. Also hope craft fairs go well.
ReplyDeleteWitties are doing well in my garden too . Really excited about seeing my family later today, then it’s full on for almost 3 weeks.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Ang what a lovely paper you have used on this card. I also have a craft table this weekend at the church Easter Fayre. We don't get a lot of folk in and quite a few spend ages picking everything up and putting it down again before they walk off!! but hopefully I'll get a few sales of all my bits and pieces cards, bead and yarn necklaces, notebooks, knitting,
ReplyDeletesewing and various other creations. All keeps me out of mischief. Your wisteria is coming on a tree so will look forward to some pictures when it's in its full glory. Love from Jackie xx
Hi Ang this is a stunning card. I treated myself to this die set at Ally Pally. It is good to see it used in a different way. It sounds like you have a busy week ahead. I do love Wisteria I am looking forward to seeing more photos. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeletePretty card Ang I have only ever done eclipse cards with letters I will have a go with a patterned die - a lot more paper piecing though
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your craft fair It’s bound to be a success
Silly me Just thought An easier way would be use two lots of paper...?
DeleteYou always sound like you have so much fun (other than the toothache). Craft work shops and fairs. We don't have enough of them here...practically none.
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely. I did order the die when John was on Hochanda and its on the way. I love your take with it.
I am glad that spring is finally arriving although we are getting more rainy days than usual here.
Everyone, have a great afternoon,
Stephanie K
Hello Ang,
ReplyDeleteIt's a bloomin gorgeous card and a great idea. Your Wisteria is rather nice but I think my Muscari just beats it ha ha, I'm only jealous but you know that and our plans this year to pinch it will be successful!
Our little group are having a few days away again later this month so I'll be looking after Myra again, as I am a great believer in Care in the Community and she needs all the help she can get (oh dear, I'll be in trouble).
I'm pleased to read that your workshop was a success - am I surprised, of course not. I hope your Fair is equally as big a hit and also that your tooth continues to behave so that further treatment isn't required. Why do I keep having the vision of Dracula when I talk about teeth!!
Take care,
love Maureen xx
Gorgeous card Ang. Brilliant idea. Will have a try of something similar. Glad Myra and Maureen had a good time. Two lovely ladies. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHello Ang,
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card, love the idea, might have to have a go at that. Love your blog and I do look in regularly but haven't commented before. So you don't know me from Adam but I'm answering a call of mercy! Myra is in a tizz, she can't get her post to publish on here ( or on John's blog) and asked me to see if I could, she thinks it might have something to do with her update - on her iPad I hasten to add before Maureen jumps in there and gets herself into even more trouble! Hope this publishes for me,
Ps I'll be the one looking after both of them on our trip away!!!
Wow the wisty is looking lovely I do like it it's so beautiful in full bloom. A beautiful card take care with the tooth xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Ang. The wisty is looking super, hubby is celebrating a 'special' birthday soon and I bought him another wisty.... fingers crossed
ReplyDeleteReally good to hear your workshops are a success, I would not have thought otherwise!
Take care
